Most Chrisitan denominations use the entire Bible and follow a three year cycle in which by taking weekly passages from Gospel, Epistles, Psalms, and the rest of the Old Testaments, the entire Bible gets read and examined. The list of these readings is called the Revised Common Lectionary. You can have a look at it online here: http://divinity.lib.vanderbilt.edu/lectionary/
Pastors tend to use the readings of the week to create the sermon, and other leaders, music, youth, etc, look at the readings to shape their portion of the weekly service.
The practice comes from ancient Judaism in which there were weekly readings from law, prophets and writings, which comprise the Jewish Bible.
A few Christian churches rely heavily on the Old Testament and try to practice many of Old Testament beliefs such as keeping the dietary laws and a seventh day Sabbath. If you are interested in these groups, you might look at United, Philadelphian, Living or Restored Churches of God. Also, there are Jewish movements, such as Messianic Judaism that seeks to incorporates some Christian beliefs into their religious understandings.
The Old Testament is an amazing part of the Bible which can be confusing to people. There is some ambiguity in translation of some of the passages which have caused some to form strong opinions that have led to hatred and violence. There are many other stories that have meaning for us to day in contemporary life, such as the Psalms.

Christian comes from the word Christ. The book about Jesus Christ is in the New Testament. Ergo if any denomination will only use the Old Testament that is not Christianity. But a lot of Christian denomination/group use both the Old and the New Testament.

Any of them that are Bible teaching denominations. There is no separating the two. The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. Jesus taught from Old Testament scriptures during His teaching in the Temple.

Most Christian churches use the old testament for it's stories and wisdom, but as far as adhering to the Jewish laws (kashrut, marriage, etc) they don't use those. So technically they still USE it. But as in everything, there are exceptions--for example my friend who goes to the Church of Christ doesn't use the Old Testament at all, and he even refuses to buy a bible if it has anything other than the New Testament texts. I figure there are more denominations like this as well, but that is the only one I know of for sure.

Many Pastors etc plan their surmons using every part of the Bible NOT just the New Testament. Our Pastor began from the first page and went straight through until the last.... he plans his surmons now from what he is Called to preach or speak about and what is placed on his heart by the Lord.
Why would you think anyone JUST uses the New Testament?? Not one church I have ever been in for my entire life JUST used the New Testament. I have been to several denominations or types of churches.. from Catholic, Baptist, Presbyterian etc etc and they all use both.

THEY ALL USE IT. WHY I DO NOT KNOW AS THEY SHOULD JUST USE NEW TESTAMENT. I GUESS THE NEW TESTMENT DID NOT HAVE THE GRAVITAS OF THE OLD SO THEY USED IT TOO TO GET RESPECTBILITY. THE CHRISTIANS ARE UPSTARTS IN RELIGION.
THE TEACHINGS OF THE OLD TESTAMENT ARE REALLY A BASIC JEWISH TEXT BUT ONLY A SMALL PART OF THEIR GREAT OLD RELIGION. MOSTLY IT IS A HISTORY BOOK FOR JEWS. READ THE ZOHAR IF YOU WANT THEIR WISDOM

Ingersoll, Robert Green "If a man would follow, today, the teachings of the Old Testament, he would be a criminal. If he would follow strictly the teachings of the New, he would be insane. "
