Because that is the only place the two extremes lie. You can't miss your water till your well is gone, that's when you'll be sad. AAnd when you start to appreciate what you have, you know you haven't been really living till now and that's where the pleasure kicks in.

Love is our innermost emotions coming out through our interactions with another person. Because it is so based on our emotional thinking, we feel great whenever we have it, because love is making our emotions happy, and whenever things do not work out in the "fairy tale" sense or when our love does not work out, we are saddened because our emotions were toyed with, and our feelings and thoughts (emotionally speaking) are running rampant. Love can bring both great joy and sadness because it is so emotionally based. I know; i am in love.

love is about 24/7 stuff cuz u think of the person 24/7.. and if u break up, u gonna be sad without him/her forever.
