Men and women are equal in God's sight in respect to his love for them and in respect to their salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
But God created men and women with different roles. Just because a woman becomes a Christian doesn't mean that she isn't called to bear children for example. In the context of marriage the divine order is Jesus is in charge, the man is supposed to follow Him and the woman is supposed to follow her husband as he follows Christ.
That doesn't make men better than women. It just means that God has ordained different roles for each gender. That's why back in Genesis 2 God said he would make a suitable helper for the man when He created Eve.
If He had done it the other way around then He would still have had to have an order because God is not the author of confusion.

Answering one point at a time:
All people are of equal worth, but that doesn't mean that they all have the same position. The military may put one soldier somewhere digging ditches and another in an office; that's not a matter of worth, but simply assigning them different roles.
Fossil skeletons are typically a few bones scattered over an acre of ground or more, put together and called one find; rarely are they found together. There have been no 'half-man, half-ape' skeletons found, but those that were distinctly human and those that were distinctly ape. I don't know which church you are referring to, but that's what science says about them.

Religions are "HYPOCRITICAL" because humans are involved. However, you are not specific in which religions you are questioning. Since you mention the Bible I will conclude that you are refering to Christian and not Eastern religions and reply with this in mind...
Not all religions/denominations oppose "WOMEN" as priests and bishops. The Episcopal, Presbiterian, Lutheran, and even some Baptists church have women priests. The Methodist church has women priests AND bishops.
Just because it's not in the Bible doesn't mean that other "humans" weren't created. There are many churches that talk about the Bible simply being a book which tries to make sense of where we came from, who created us and why we are here. There are lots of truths in the Bible, but it's not all factual. So there is room for Neadertal man. And as much as it would be wonderful for Hobbits to exist they are a creation of Tolkien and not God - sorry to burst any bubbles out there.
As for humans of differences of sexual orientation Jesus (son of God) never spoke of this and he gets pretty specific with regard to what is truly important with regard to what is right and wrong in the eyes of God. Women are a vital part of his ministry and part of his continued sharing of the message of what God is like. Those that speak differently are making things up that don't come from Jesus' teachings.
So, don't blame religion, blame those phobic controllers that are frightened of what they don't know or understand.

Hypocritical yes, all men are created equal (unless they don't believe in your religion, an of course women don't count).
But a more important point is the lengths religions are prepared to go to ,to legitimize their barbaric acts.
Even a small amount of research into circumcision, and halal/ kosher slaughter of animals could only result in shock and distress, that these practices are still legal.
Peace, and an end to injustice ;)

The churches do propose that human beings have gathered a certain uniqueness to themselves; there is something about us that is definitely different. We can communicate abstract ideas; we know things - now animals know things too, but we are perhaps the only creatures who _know_ that they know things.
What the church does not propose is when this happened - when did humans become peculiar in these ways, such that you could say, "this one has a soul"?
We really can't say for sure. That's back in pre-history somewhere. Neanderthals buried their dead, made flutes, and made a sophisticated pitch glue out of birch sap, which suggests they had to communicate the technique with language. So there's a good case they are human in every sense we'd understand it.
Homo Floresiensis is described, in local legends, as having a "murmuring" language. Their ancestors crossed over to Flores in what would have to have been some kind of watercraft, 800,000 years ago. Perhaps there is a good case for them counting as human, too.

Well, your knowledge of religions is rather limited if you only know about the Bible and nothing else.
The Hindu scriptures tell us that there are 8,400,000 species of life throughout the universe and of these there are 400,000 species of humans. Although the Hindu scriptures are timeless, even if as some claim that they were written as late as 2000 yrs ago, that's impressive
anticipation of questions now that we have discovered all these other humanlike species.
In the Hindu religion there are many women leaders, teachers and gurus unlike the semitic religions which have tried to suppress/oppress females.

Any one can write something and say it is the word of God and they do.
Usually this reinforces their position of authority, sometimes they are just insane.
The basis is usually Faith, that is believing without proof what YOU'RE told by THEM, nice for them isn't it.
This is reinforced by threats in the next world and if that doesn't work in the here and now.
I just wish they'd give us all a break and shut the f*ck up!
But sadly there's no chance of that.

Religion is like this : PRISON W/OUT BARS
It has been and still is used to divide and rule (as well as to conquer).
The bible IS hypocritical ALSO full of contradictions.
Why does it say in Genesis 1:26 '...God said, let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness...'
And there's me thinkin there's only ONE God....
Load of pishh if u ask me. Most overrated book in the history of mankind.

Well, if you hold to the new testament of the scriptures and the teachings (so they say) of Apostle Paul, it is God's intention that only men be allowed to preach, and the women must remain silent in church. I'm not saying I believe in that. I definitely believe in God but, as I grow older, that belief is based less and less on what people (including written word) have to say about him or her and more on what I feel spiritually.

Hobbits (so called) and the Neanderthal are a different species related to MONKEYS - not man. Similar to man, but thats it.
Scientists are stretching their findings with hypothesis (guess work) and passing them off as factual - and you like a Neanderthal buys into it. You do exactly as you accuse us when you say we blindly go along with anything.
Sorry - but its the secular who actually buy into the evolution stages to monkey to man. It does not work.
For your Information, the Bible doesn't mention your name and address in it either - same as many other books written. Which does not discredit the Bible - it just means YOU weren't mentioned, nor hobbit monkeys or neanderthal monkeys.
