I've seen a trazillion websites that give God credit for healing cancer, so He obviously has those sorts of power.

well, maybe you are focusing to much on God, curing you of homosexuality and not on the real problem.you must let God into your heart and read his word and pray. homosexuality is only one branch of many that believers must face.i think you should keep on doing what you are doing, and in God's time, you will know the answer.you were born that way and God does not make junk! i was hit by a car and now i am paralyzed, do i say, God why don't you just heal me.yes, but to say that i am a mistake is wrong! every single one of us, is born with a disability. your disability is seen, while many disabilities in people are not seen.we are born in a fallen world.so, no-one is born perfect. i also cannot judge your homosexuality without judging my own heterosexuality. to each his own, brother.keep the fight.

Well, despite that homosexuals will keep trying to sear their consciences against the truth and try to pretend to the rest of us that they were born or gened that way, the reality is that such spiritual choices are not physical diseases at all.
Can it be healed??
Yes; via calling upon God and learning to submit our will to His, just as His son taught us.
He can cure your soul through belief on His sacrifice paid for your sins, and as you learn to repent of this gross sin.
Now, as for Sodom and Gomorrha, I'm glad someone brought it up; because the world hasn't seen the last of it!!!!
As the world RIPENS in iniquity - particularly, in homosexuality and murder, which are now rebuilding as sins in the world, there will be yet another Sodom and G. - even worse, we are told; and it will be on a much larger, HUGE, HUGE scale.
The Lord has prophesied that He will totally destroy the wicked from off the face of the earth again [but this time by Fire, not by water]. It will be just prior to His 2nd Coming.
So don't worry; it's all coming yet!!

Because it's man made, not Gods fault that someone turned you gay, it was all ways your choice, just ask any christian.
1. How can it be man made when god made EVERYTHING in this universe? So then if it is Gods fault how does that make him an all knowing "god"?
2. No one "turns" you gay just the same as no one turns you straight or turns you christian. Oh sorry christians have missionaries right so maybe gay people should have "missionaries" to turn other people gay too.
3. Just ask any christian??? More like ask the broader community so we dont just get one single minded opinion.

#1. Homosexuality is an addiction and the addicted MUST want to be healed. God is not going to force it. They must accept the Lord Jesus as Savior.
#2. There are in fact ex-homosexuals who have been freed from that addiction every day.

Good question, but he would not have to "cure" it per se, he would just eradicate it. (Remember Sodom and Gomorrah?)
Yes he can do that and everything else we can imagine and not. The question here is self choice, self will and allowing choice for his children. Why did he NOT stop Adam and Eve from eating the forbidden fruit? Because he allows his children choices even when he knows that they will make the wrong choice. Personal growth, adversity and hopefully through trials and tribulations we will find a path that leads to him. Call it a test.

God gave us a free will, allowing us to live the life style we choose.

He is in the process of bringing men & women out of the gay lifestyle all the time. Look around you.
I know 4 men & 3 women who have "made the change" & 6 have been happily married for several years. One female friend has chosen to remain celebate; for now.

LOL yeah and each and every one of those "miraculous healings" has NO evidence to suggest it was anything but natrual remission. Which happens on a daily basis.
However, millions of amputees pray every day for a new limb or limbs and the prayer falls on deaf ears. Hmm I wonder why?

God gave us free will.
For those who are afflicted with the disordered attraction to the same sex but who live a chaste life and do their best to serve and obey God, they will be cleansed of that attachment to sin in Purgatory. And anyone who goes to Purgatory will eventually go to Heaven.
Bottom Line:
End the end you and I will be in Heaven or Hell forever.

God could turn your computer into a pumpkin with teeth that would then gnaw off your appendages one by one, if he wanted to, but what's the point?
Bring up the "nature vs nurture" issue. Is it genetic and happens no matter what, or is it caused be your environment as you get older? Who knows? God. Who else? No one.
