It means what it says. That one day, if we remain loyal to God we will not have anymore health problems. Refer to Revelation 21:3,4 also.

It also has fullfillment today, read Isaiah 40:27-30. When we do things in God's service we receive power and renewal. (it's not a miraculous renewal, it's a refreshment of the soul - like what racam-us said in their answer)

Some further reference scriptures that relate are Psalm 25:3; Psalm 103:5; Psalm 138:3; Exodus 19:4; 1 Kings 18:46; and Psalm 84:7. These all relate to various parts of Isaiah 40:31.

Isaiah 40:31

31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Waiting on the L-rd is synonymous with seeking Him in prayer...in a listening mode. As you draw strength & hope from His presence, you will be empowered for life.

You need to read verses 28-31 together. It will develop more meaning. We all grow tired and weary from everyday stress that satan throws at us. But if we look to God and clothe ourselves in His strength and put our hope in Him, He will give us strength and increase our power to rise above as the eagle does. Through God's strength we can soar far above the troubles of this world.

That doesn't mean that we won't have problems from time to time, but through God's strength we can be comforted and face our problems with renewed vigor and hope. We won't feel like we have to face our problems alone. It is a much better feeling to soar with the eagles than to crawl with the serpents in the dust.

Isaiah fifty 3 foretold the Messiah's visual appeal, his studies, lack of existence and burial, reading the finished financial ruin using the bypass references to the Christian Greek Scriptures [New testomony] would really help you spot this. Jesus suffered an unlawful trial, become scourged such that his flesh become torn open then nailed up, only imagine of the demanding timber in contact such as his raw wounds, the fashion of nails used, hammered out through a metallic worker, the way he were dealt with previous to this for the time of his ministry. absolutely nutrients for concept about the love of God [John 3:16] and that of our now reigning King, Jesus. we can all ask ourselves if we are fairly grateful and appreciative such that we are going to obey God and do his will.

Isaiah, refers to the effortless flight of an eagle. “Those who are hoping in Jehovah will regain power. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not tire out.” (Isaiah 40:31) What is the secret of the eagle’s buoyant flight? Mounting up requires little effort since the eagle uses thermals, or columns of rising warm air. Thermals are invisible, but the eagle is adept at finding them. Once a thermal is located, the eagle spreads out its wings and tail and circles within the column of warm air, which carries the eagle higher and higher. When sufficient height is gained, it glides to the next thermal, where the process is repeated. In this way the eagle can stay aloft for hours with a minimum expenditure of energy.

The eagle’s effortless flight is a beautiful illustration of how Jehovah’s strength can lift us up spiritually and emotionally so that we can carry on with our work. Just as an eagle cannot soar to such heights using its own strength, we cannot cope if we rely on our own abilities. “For all things I have the strength by virtue of him who imparts power to me,” explained the apostle Paul. (Philippians 4:13) Like an eagle that constantly searches for invisible thermals, we “keep on asking” for Jehovah’s invisible active force by means of our fervent prayers.—Luke 11:9, 13.

31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

All things come to those who follow God, obey His laws, and are patient for His choosing of when to bring us our rewards as His children. We are to draw strength from Him daily. Through our faith in God, we shall be able to handle all things in life.

If you studied the word of God every day, and prayed before you opened the bible, asking God to show you what it is He wants you to learn that day, He will allow you to fully understand His word. But if you just pick up the bible to read it like any other book, you will never have an understanding of it, because it is God who opens it up to you as to what you are cabable of understanding according to where you are in your walk with Him as a Chrsitian.

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

It has to do with trusting in God instead of our own strength when we face trying circumstances.

Isaiah 40:26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth. 27 Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God? 28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

Isaiah 40:30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
