Well, it's mythology. There is NO evidence that anyone like jesus ever existed at any time.

There are so many books written other than the 4Gospels in the bible which prove that Jesus is true. There have been several historians who have written about him. Haven't come across any that say that he was married. Then comes Da Vinci Code and off to make money starts a new thing.
The best person to answer this question is Jesus himself who is still alive. He said "Ask & you shall receive" Ask him for an answer. He also says "Behold I stand at the door of your heart & knock", if you open I shall enter & sup with you" why don't you both talk over supper?

Dan Brown says it is fiction. Jesus martial status is never mentioned in the New Testament. So to answer your question, there is no true evidence supporting the claim Jesus had a wife

the bible doesnt say if he was married or not but it supports the fact that he may have been married 2 her. marry magdalene went 2 the tomb 2 annoit jesus dead body. during them times only the wives of the dead husbands did that. if the man didnt have a wife and his mother is still living then its her job 2 annoit the dead. but jesus mother was still living but mary magdalene was the one.

Jesus is a human being, why it considered a crime if he was married?? Just like any other man, if he felt like marring any good woman, he surely did it... so simple.
