vaccination a pregnant min pin?

i diint know my dog was pregnant and i gave her yearly shots,she had 2 puppies and both were dead,is it because of the shots?when gave shots she had no sighns of pregnancy and just last couple weeks she started getting fat.thanks any advice please

It could have been. Call the vet and ask so they know to check her for pregnancy first next time she goes. I don't think they should have affected her. Shots don't affect human pregnancies, but I guess it might be different for dogs.

I'm really sorry though, that's so sad. Call the doctor and talk to him about it. Then give the puppies a nice little funeral. You might also need to get the mommy some more shots to help with the loss because she will still be producing milk, and if nothing is drinking it, her breasts can get really sore and cause her a lot of pain. So take her back to the vet next chance you can and get everything worked out.

Advanced proper planning prior to the *****'s breeding cycle, which would include updating necessary inoculations, should exclude the necessity to vaccinate during pregnancy. Routine annual booster administration does not justify risks and should be postponed until the litter is whelped and the puppies are weaned



this is the info i found- i wouldn't have thought anything about vaccinating a pregnant dog. i am sorry to hear of your loss.
