I never really knew whether I should believe in life after death or not, but since Dec last year I do ...
I went to school with a very nice, smart, sympathic, intelligent guy since I was 7 years old. He was one of my classmates I always liked most. When I was 12 / 13 years old I started to fancy him a little and apparently he felt the same way, cause we were flirting a lot (of course in a very shy way, like kids just do), always went home from school together on our bikes, and once we went to the cinema together, where we were holding each others hands. But young as we were, nothing more happened (not even kissing) and the whole thing fell apart again somehow. Actually I think we were both far too shy to take it a step further.
We were good friends though. After my A levels (with 18) I moved away from Salzburg to Vienna and only saw him again 10 years later at our class reunion. Again we clicked and I thought, "Why did we never get together? We used to like each other A LOT. We are 28 now and he is still awesome!!" But that was it. An evening filled with memories and the huge question in my head, why we had been so shy back then. I still felt like I could truly fall in love with him.
2 years later, that was December last year, I woke up from a very strange dream. I was on my bike again, pedaling for a long while and at the end of my journey I met him! All out of a sudden he was there ... kissing me!
I woke up and felt really strange, yet I haven't thought of him at all for a long while, and my crush on him was such a long time ago. I couldn't understand that dream at all. I was wondering from which hidden corner in my brain that dream had come from!
But then - about an hour later - I checked my mobile's voice mail and there was a message from a friend of mine, telling me that this guy had passed away in a car accident two days earlier.
I don't think this was only a weird coincidence, but that he kind of said Goodbye to me by giving me the kiss in my dream, which he never did in real life!
Since that I do believe in life after death, cause this experience was so remarkable and outstanding that I just have to.

For the people who are still living, there is life after the death of another. Is that clear?

Nobody knows, but it seems highly unlikely. Everything living dies and everything dead rots; we are products of nature, therefore not exempt from any natural process.
The problem people have with death is caused by egocentricism: We simply cannot imagine the world without us in it, so we decide there must be some sort of afterlife because that idea is easier to live with.
Of course this is only my opinion. Soon enough we'll know for sure, so why waste any precious time worrying about it?

Hi,
here is two different things.
First Our Body which grow from childhood to young age & then starts degreeding. Finaly Body die ( heart stop working for brain stop working) .
Secondly Our soul, reach of our experiances, feeling, love, hate etc. which never dies & take another body to live..
That is all about life after death (body death)
Regards
Dev

Before we incarnate into this physical life, while we are still on the "other-side" as non-physical entities or spirits, we actually choose to experience a human life.
A human life on earth is so difficult that it expedites the evolution of our souls. You know how when you're a kid and you say to your parents in a pout, "I didn't choose to be born." Wrong! We all chose to come here. We chose who we would be and the parents and friends and family and all those we have contact with, as well as our major life experiences and issues.
The ironic part of this is that when we "die" (this physical incarnation ends) and we return to non-physical state of higher consciousness, we can actually choose to come back and do it all over again. We can come back in either another life form (and not necessarily on earth as human) or to this same life, over and over again. Hence, deja vu.
