Had the implants done in Jan . He uncovered them four weeks ago and placed the healing caps. Have been back to him numerous times about the pain and intermittent swelling and he has no clue. I have had no problems until he uncovered them and placed the healing caps.

Don't set here at your computer looking for answers. Get to your dentist ASAP. If necessary get 2nd opinion. No need for pain and swelling after 4 weeks unless infection or something else wrong. Get to the dentist.

Keeping your mouth completely clean is paramount to success. Go back to the Doctor and maybe they can give you an antibiotic. Plus rinse with salt water. One doesn't regect implants like one does a transplanted organs. Your Dentist is the only one who can tell what is wrong with you.

Why arent you going back to your dentist so he/she can check your mouth? Don't you think that would be the best thing to do here? I would call and make an appointment. You shouldnt even have to wait to get in to see the dentist in your case. You wait long enough and you could have serious friggen problems man.
