Look at this verse from the bible....notice the chapter...9:11...are they talking about the current War (despair; rejoice; peace) in Iraq (throughout the lands of Allah) and America (eagle) and Sadam (son of Arabia)???

Koran ( 9:11 ) - "For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace."

Does this mean America's efforts will be worth it for the people of Iraq and the world in the long run?

Ok. I did my research and here's what I found.....

The chapter and verse citation reproduced in the example block above isn't a legitimate quotation from the Quran (or Koran), the sacred text of Islam — no such passage appears in that book, at Chapter 9, Verse 11 or anywhere else.

This item a hoax, a leg-pull, that plays on the USA's (i.e., the Eagle's) launching of military action against Afghanistan and Iraq (the "lands of Allah") in response to the September 11 terrorist attacks on America organized by Osama bin Laden (the "son of Arabia"). That the chapter and verse selection match the date of the terrorist attacks (9:11) is another giveaway to the joke.

Depending upon which translation of the Quran one uses, the section corresponding to chapter 9, verse 11 actually reads something like this:
But if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, they are your brethren in faith; and We make the communications clear for a people who know.

IT WAS A HOAX!

I am no fan of Islam - BUT - that passage is not in the Koran. It was a hoax generated to ride the Patriotism and swelling of pride in America after 9-11. It was a Hoax. Look it up on the internet.., Search for "hoax koran 9:11"

I see no need to lie on Islam or its Quran - when its obviously a rip off and deliberate twisting of the Bible.

AND I MIGHT ADD.., The Quran (Koran) IS NOT THE BIBLE.

Sorry, but that is an e-mail hoax. There is no mention of an Eagle anywhere in the Koran. Another attempt at self-justification and creating a 'wow-factor'.

No.
If you base your actions on a book of mythology, you end up in pretty deep trouble (the quagmire in Iraq is ample proof of that).
Besides, the eagle in question was the symbol of the Roman empire.
Don't live your life according to myth, only the truely confused do that...

People of all times for the last 2000 years have been claiming that the Bible was talking about their war. It is all nonsense. Don't be fooled by silly fundamentalist views.

No because that was just a parable and was taken out of context
you can not find the future in the bible, because if they knew the out come they would change their tactics and that would change the out come, there is no crystal ball

Sure sounds good. But I can not put any faith in the Koran, it is a spurious book.
