Well, too numerous to mention, really. But basically, Christian divisions can be sketched out historically more or less as follows:

The Great Schism, which divided the Western part and the Eastern part into Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox.

Then, the Protestant Reformation, which divided the Roman Catholic part into Roman Catholic and the followers of Marin Luther, whose way was termed Protestant.

The next big division was the split between Catholicism and the English part of Catholicism, under Henry VIII, to form the Church of England, which was basically a Protestant move.

The various Protestant groups gave rise to further groups and this has gone on and on for centuries.

Also, in the Eastern part, various groups were formed within the Orthodox division, such as Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, etc.

These days there are hundreds of sects, so many as cannot be listed here.

There are true Christians who are all of those who have been born again by the Holy Spirit and who make up the spiritual body of Christ which is the true church on earth.

There are false Christians whom Jesus referred to as "tares" in the parable about the wheat and the tares. Tares look just like wheat until harvest time but in reality they are poisonous weeds.

There are "baby Christians" who are new to the faith and who sometimes called "carnal Christians" because the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit has not had time to fully separate them from their "old man".

There are two types. One believes in Jesus but doesn't use this belief to insult, degrade, terrorize or subjugate other people. These are called 'good Christians'.

The other type believes in Jesus and uses this belief as a weapon to strike down anyone who is different from them. These are called 'bad Christians'.

Everything else is meaningless semantics.

This link should provide everything you need to know, even though there are many denominations, those that adhere to the creeds (Apostles, Nicene, and/or Athanasian) are typically accepted as members of the one holy Chrisitan (archaic-Catholic) and apostolic church

I belong to the denomination of the Lutheran Chuch - Missouri Synod, here is the link if you are interested
