The images of Jesus we see infact came from Ethiopia and India Ethiopians converted to Christianity before Europe did. Muslims believe Jesus to have been light skinned according to hadith. Who really knows what color Jesus was since theres no body, only what followers interpreted later on. He wasnt black like africans that for sure, if he was i can garantee you the ethiopians would have had paintings of him as black.

The Roman Christians painted Jesus as a slight tan with curly hair and sometimes white. When Christianity became the state religion of Rome, they turned statues and some paintings of Mithra into Jesus, an Iranian god that Roman soldiers worshipped as well as some other european groups such as what is now croations, southern french, bosnians and bulgarians.

So the typical image we see of jesus in the west is infact Mithra(usualy an older image and full body) and some Italian guy(more common and mostly of the face) who I dont remember his name. But I see alot of the Ethiopian images of jesus also which tend to give him a less European but certainly not african.

Arabs that live in sham(syria, lebanon, jordan and palestine) tend to look white. The dark skinned arabs are from the Arabian Pinnesula such as Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Southern Iraq has alot of the dark skinned arabs while the center you will find arabs that look more white.

I am not sure. I once saw a program on the Discovery Channel that showed what he may have actually looked like, being a Jew in the Middle East. It was more believable than what they portray him to be. I don't remember what the name of the program was, but they used one of those artists who do face reconstruction.

Did you all know that the white Jesus face was modeled after Cesare Borgia who was the one of the earliest, founding Godfathers in Florence, Italy during the Reinaissance period (15th Century)?

"It has been suggested that some pictures of Jesus Christ produced around Borgia's lifetime were based on Cesare Borgia, and that this in turn has influenced images of Jesus produced since that time."

You can also find more info on that by googling it.

Depends on the painter. I know a guy who will paint Jesus as whatever color you want him to be if you have the money. He just won't do stained glass, I asked him for a larger project, and he said nah bruh, I don't want no trouble they got more money than I do.

Jesus was a Jew or rather Israelite, son of Israel more specifically son of David. We can't be completely sure what people looked like in terms of color since we don't have much art/paintings before about the 3rd or 4th century A.D.

These links should answer many of your questions though

that my friend is a very good question. if they messed that up what else you think they got wrong?once again white people are so full of themselves they cant imagine that jesus could look like an Iranian.what a shame. i apologize for my white people that are jerks.im think he might be purple with 400 eyes? he probably doesnt even have a "body"at all.

Jesus was a Jew in fact at Calvary the soldiers tacked a sign above him Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews. Pilate wrote it himself and stated I have written what I have written! I believe Jesus looked alot like your typical Jew today nothing about him special or unique in looking at him that we Should desire him!

It is a PR campaign that Christians use to get more followers. They use the "he is one of you" propaganda tactic. Sadly, you are correct, he was an illegitimate middle eastern child born from an adulterous mother.

Because the Europeans or white and white people are more believable

White is clean and a symbol of purity.

Black is dirty and a symbol of unclean

It's all physiological war fare
