Yes, the Mormon church for a long time practiced racism...they didn't allow black people to be allowed to be in church leadership. I believe that they were labeled the seed of Cain. Anyway, since the Mormon God changes His mind frequently the Mormon church changed there stance on their views on other nationalities/races, just like on the polygamy issue. Is there Bible racist yes, but that doesn't mean that Mormons are...anymore.

You first problem is that you read the Book of the Mormons without belief. Without belief this revealed book is meaningless to you.
The book describes a period of time from the lost tribes of Israel to Christ. It describe a world that mirrors any other period of time.
The only question is do the Morman of today practice the philosophies contain in the book?

this came from the mouths of mormons who were trying to convert me for two years that god made people black as a punishment,but it doesnt apply to this day and age they said so i said why did he make chinese and indians then? no answer but apparently there GOD lives on a planet not in our solar system called zorgon or something like that ,thats the truth there crazy, but good hearted people
