you usually need a fruit juice, a pop, and sherbet. I wouldn't use ice cream in a punch. Ice cream is more for floats, as you don't want ice cream sitting out in a bowl, and it tends to make the drink too heavy. But a good punch would have fruit juices, pop, like Sprite, for some bubbles and a sherbet for bright color and taste.

Do you mean fruit punch? I've never heard of using ice cream to make fruit punch.....?
Ingredients:
1 qt. fresh orange juice
1 qt. sweetened cranberry juice
1/2 qt. pineapple juice
1 c. lime juice, or juice from 5 to 6 fresh limes
1 qt. ginger ale, chilled
ice cubes or ice block
1. Chill all ingredients well, if possible. This step isn't crucial, but it will help preserve the bubbles in the ginger ale and cause less ice to melt and dilute the punch.
2. Combine the fruit juices in a punch bowl and mix well.
3. Stir in the ginger ale slowly and gently, trying not to release too much carbonation.
4. Taste the punch and add more juice if necessary.
5. Place the ice cubes or ice block in the punch bowl and serve.
Use the best orange juice you can for this recipe, like fresh squeezed juice or packaged juice that's not made from concentrate. It will make a big difference.

WELL, PUNCH...............Sweetheart, I've never heard of ice cream in punch, first time for everything I guess. Let me run this by you......As far as punch goes the cook pretty much decides what the ingredients are. You didn't say, is this punch for children or adults? For kids, use your imagination, if you are going to use fruit juices, the skys the limit, punch is funny,if you use fruit drinks stick with that, sodas don't make punch. Now if it's adults, try Squirt, some other soda drink along that line, OH YEAH.......ALCOHOL.........About 50/50 TOPS You don't want them falling all over before the party gets started! LATER!!!!

Try these:
2 - 6 oz. cans frozen orange juice
2 - 6 oz cans frozen lemonade
2 - boxes frozen strawberries
3 sliced lemons and limes
2 liters ginger ale
12 ounces of crushed pineapple with juice
24-36 ice cubes
Mix ingredients in a chilled punch bowl. Add the ginger ale as your last ingredient. (Hint: You can also freeze water in a jelly mold ring and place it in the punch, you can add some fresh fruit before it freezes, it's great for summer)
Here's another:
2 large cans orange juice
2 large cans undiluted pineapple juice
1 can frozen undiluted lemon juice
1 can frozen undiluted lime juice
2 liters ginger ale
2 pkgs. frozen strawberries
3 pints vanilla or strawberry ice cream
mix the above ingredients, add ice cream in scoops just before serving.
Have a good time!!!
