There are many differenceces.
Catholics worship a trinity- Jehovahs Witnesses worship Almighty God whose name is Jehovah.
Jehovahs Witnesses believe that Jesus is Jehovahs Son,the first born of all creation.
Jehovahs Witnesses believe that Holy Spirit is not a person, but God's active force which he uses to accomplish his purposes.
Catholics believe in hellfire.Jehovahs Witnesses recognise that hell is mistranslated for the common grave of mankind.
Catholics believe they are all going to heaven.Jehovahs Witnesses recognise Bible scriptures that prove that obedient mankind will reside on the earth.Only a limited number go to heaven to reside as kings and priests with Jesus Christ over the earth.
Jehovahs Witnesses hold to the Bible as the standard for all their beliefs. They apply God's Word in their everyday lives.
Jehovahs Witnesses take Jesus' command found at Matt 28:19,20 to heart and endeavour to follow in Christ's footsteps and preach to people wherever they can be found about God's Kingdom and the many blessings that will come to obedient mankind.
There are many, many, differences.I used to be a catholic. But recognised that the Catholic church does not have a clear and thorough understanding of the Scriptures. Also, the Catholic Church has allowed many pagan beliefs and doctrines to be fused in with their beliefs.
Jehovahs Witnesses on the other hand, having Jehovahs Holy Spirit guiding the organisation. They are the only religion that use and realise the importance of God's Holy name. They are the only religion that recognise that we are living deep in the last days and strive to accomplish their ministry in view of Matt.24:24
If you are interested in Jehovahs Witnesses, why not go to your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses. They would be only too happy to speak with you. They would even conduct a free home bible study with you.
You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

The Jehovahs Witness organization or Watchtower is a cult. They deny many of the essential beliefs of the historic Christian faith such as Jesus was only a man(they refuse to believe he is God in human flesh)even though its all throughout the Bible. Small example: Collosians chapter 2 verse 9 in the Bible says , "In him(Jesus)dwells all the FULLNESS of the GODHEAD BODILY." A JW is subjected to brainwashing to the point where their family is to be shunned if they dont become members. The Catholic church claims to be the first church of Christ with the pope as the final authority. A JW and a Catholic are worlds apart. If you stick to learning and embracing the Bible which are the actual words of God you will find your answers and the truth. Keep seeking.

Everyone who asks a question here should really do some of their own research and seek an answer first. Visit wikipedia.org if you want answers regarding certain religions, or denominations. You could also try visiting these groups web pages, but i do not recommend that because sites like watchtower.org are very misleading and do not answer all your questions.

If you would like to know more about my denomination (Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod) visit lcms.org. There you will find an FAQ that answers a lot of common Christian questions.

The catholic catechism can be found at http://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/_INDEX.HTM
The Jehovah's Witness official site as stated above is

Luther's Small and Large Catechisms and Explanation (part of Small) can be found at the following link

Jesus got here to us to furnish us His Church. that's, ONE Church, no longer many church homes. To at present the Catholic Church has been reliable and immovable as a Rock provided that Jesus Christ instituted it 2000 years in the past. convinced, there are a range of complications in the church at present, it really is because of attacks of devil. The Catholic Church will climate this typhoon, only because it has for 2 millennium. And only because it style of feels that the Church will be destroyed, Our Lord will come to order it. Protestantism, that are frequently Christian sects were round less than 500 years (provided that 1517). And it has splintered many times over the years. This turned right into a reaction to human weak point in the Church and provided that then the Catholic Church has change into more advantageous, that's , till the 1960's at the same time as Protestantism infiltrated the Catholic Church with the revamping of the Liturgy. you could now't tell an Anglican provider from a Catholic Mass. i guess the significant enormous difference between them is the Catholic conception in the real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Bread of existence, the Eucharist. Protestants trust it really is in uncomplicated phrases an emblem. John Ch. 6 explains why Catholics trust that Jesus gave us the Eucharist for our religious experience through existence and to eternity.

You're kidding right?
Both worship the same God, for starters. However they have different ideologies. Just like Seventh Day Adventists worship the same God and have different ideologies, just like the Baptists and the Pentacosts all worship the same Judeo-Christian God, but have different ideologies. And if you really have your eyes open you will understand that Muslims worship the same God but have belief in different prophets.
But to your question,
One of the fundimental belief differences between Jehovah's Witnessess and Catholics is the belief in trinity -- or the belief God is three persons (father, son, holy spirit), each of which is divine, and that at the same time there is only one God. What this means is that each of the persons of God is completely divine in nature but not the full essense of God, Each of the three persons is not the the other two people, each of the three people are related to but distict from the others. So under this definition Jesus is God.
Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe in Trinity. They do however believe that Jesus Christ is the ticket to Salvation, they see Jesus as Lord and Saviour and that you must follow his teachings while showing faith in God, Jesus, according to the Jehovah faith, though, is not God nor is he a God-man, he is perceived as being less than God or not a part of the entire God entity. They beleive he was a spirit being who was sent as God's son and his sacrafice the price paid for salvation of humans.
Other differences include things like the Catholic creation of Saints and others who they can pray to to help talk with Go, whereas Jehovah's wittnesses will talk only to God and they call him by name.
Please will any Catholics or Jehovah's Witnesses correct any misinformation I may have inadvertantly given.
Why not take a comparative religion course at your local college or university?

Chatolics are taller and are indigenous to mountain regions. They subsist on a diet of old shoes and rice. They are Chatoholics..............they talk too much. JW 's are on a multilevel marketing system with god much like Amway or Shacklee. Their pay is based on converts.

I am Catholic, and this creed gives a summary of what we Catholics believe:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nicene Creed (Profession of Faith)

We believe in one God, the Father, the almighty,
maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, light from light,
true God from true God,
begotten not made, one in being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he was born of the virgin Mary, and became man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered, died, and was buried.
On the third day, he rose again
in fulfillment of the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
with the Father and the son he is worshipped and glorified.
He has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy, catholic, apostolic church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jehovah Witnesses are not a cult. a cult is people who worship a mere man and live together. we as Jehovah Witnesses live in our own homes, pay bills, shop, cry and laugh. we worship Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ. maybe we should stay away from you. we don't lie to people like people think we do, we will take you to the bible. if you don't want to use our bible, we will use the king James. it has the same thing as our bible. I know because I use both bibles. what does Amway, Avon have to do with us. we don't sell anything. we can not change your religion, that is between you and God.
