Are those the only 2 options you have right now? If not start looking at something a little larger to accomodate you and your children. 5 kids have to share one bedroom will be very hard. On the other hand having 3 bedrooms would help more. If you dont have a stove try looking in your local paper for a stove for sale and maybe you could purchase one a little cheaper than going to an appliance store. If you are having financial problems try going to your local Department of Human Resources and see what type of assistance you may qualify for. God Bless and Good luck to you and your family

Why doesn't the trailer have a stove? Is there a spot for one?

It depends on where you live. If you live in tornado alley, I would opt for the house. If you live where there isn't a chance of bad weather destroying it, go for the trailer and get a campstove and a microwave. Hopefully you have a spot to set these things on a counter somewhere.

An oven is nice, but you don't sound like you are situated enough to worry about that.

A better question is how did you get into this situation? Is there a mate, spouse, or significant other involved at all? You need a house with at least 3 bedrooms (like sex kids can bunk together) and probably 2 bathrooms (or at least a bath and a half.)

Good luck.

Take the house. It's a better finacial choice in the long run and a stronger building for security. The fact that is only has 2 bedrooms just means that you will have a very close family. Not to be too stereotype but just think of other cultures of people who live in a single family home with many members of the family. As long as you keep a neat home and people are respectful then you can make it work.

People and your dualities, where is option "C" and "D"? Depends: if by "trailer" you mean a mobile home/manufactured housing, it would also depend on the neighborhoods. If it was just a mater of room, I would say trailer, and then buy a stove (you can find them for cheap). But if I was in an area prone to hurricanes and tornadoes, then I might go with the house, or find option C&D.

3 bedroom trailer. I'd get me a cheap $20 grill at Wal-Mart and a roll of tin foil. Then raise my kids the best I could, and save up for a stove.

Well I have 5 kids and would have to say the trailor. Space is precious when it comes to big families. I prefer having homes with a stove, but with three bedrooms. Is there any way you could add on to the home? It also depends on how old the kids are....younger kids bunk easier than having older ones. Boys in one room, girls in another, and me and my husbund in the third. Having two bedrooms would not allow hubby and I to have our own room and we would have to sleep on a couch. So what would you prefer?

I would choose the house-you can convert a living room or dining room into an awsome bedroom for kids-hang some curtins so there is privacy-and you will have a STOVE

I'd rather have a two bedroom home. Houses tend to be bigger than a trailer. Plus if you have a basement you can make makeshift bedrooms by haning curtains or something.

the 3 bedroom so everyone won't feel so congested in their living enviroment and can find some form of peace and privacy. You can get a microwave , electric skillet, and a hot plate. Be very careful and responsible to prevent fires though.
