I am 13 years old, 5"3 and 1/2 and i weigh 118. My body type is very athletic and muscular but i do have a bit of belly fat. AM I FAT?

No, not at all. they say at 5' you should be 100 and add 5 for every inch. but u have an athletic build and everyone knows muscle weighs more then fat. so please dont start self doubting yourself it will be something stuck with you for the rest of your life. as long as u like you that is what matters when i was about your age i was your age i was 5' and i wieghed 93 lbs. and i thought i was HUGE because there was a girl who was 5'1" and she was only 90 lbs.. looking back i cant figure out why in the world i felt bad about myself because of that i was thin. yeah i had a curvy butt but back then everyone i knew had a flat one. please please please dont think yourself as fat. your athletic be happy

Honey....at your age, the last thing you should worry about is a "bit of belly fat". As you get older and continue to grow, your body will go through changes. Right now, you are at the perfect weight for your height. NO....you are not fat!

I say no , sounds like a good weight for someone your height, plus you say your a little muscular, muscle weighs more then fat.

No, you sound very healthy and fit. Please don't compare yourself to the airbrushed photos in magazines. Keep your confidence and you will always be beautiful! BTW you are the perfect weight for your height, even a bit on the light side for an athletic build.

Yes you are fat! You should consider liposuction or a stomach bypass. Do something now before it gets really out of hand! Nobody likes a fat, disgusting hog. Well, except me of course!

You are still growing. Please do not worry about fat. If you are getting good nutrition - protein (poultry and fish are best, unless you are a vegetarian and then soy is very good), low glycemic carbohydrates (look up a glycemic index) and good fat (olive oil for cooking, almonds or peanuts for snacking), then you will do just fine.

You're not fat...you have a fat stomach. Just don't wear shirts that let the crap hang out. Just tighten it up - you're at a perfect weight..don't lose any, just tone.

No, dear, you are not fat by any means. What little bit of flab around your tummy will go away as you get older.

Definately not.

According to deathclock.com, your BMI (body mass index) is very desirable.

Don't worry about it, the weight is probably all muscle.

Omg no you are not fat....but to get rid of your little belly just do stomach crunches and that will flatten it out good.. that's what i do....it works great!
