If you want to stop the killing of animals, you'll have to stop the harvesting of wheat and many other crops too, because those big machines they use to harvest wheat etc kill millions of animals in the process.

No matter what food you're eating, animals are being killed. At least when you're eating a hamburger, the animal was killed for the purpose of being eaten, not just on accident while something else was being harvested. Get over your "do you think that ppl HAVE to eat animals to SURVIVE" crap, because we might as well eat the animals, because even if we don't, many millions will still be killed.

Do I think animal testing should be stopped? Ok, sure, let's stop animal testing and test drugs on humans. Yeah, that's a bright idea. Mmhmm.

Do I think people should think about the environment too? What kind of a question is this? Technically, people who are tearing down trees etc are thinking about the environment, just not in a positive manner. Ask questions that make sense. But do I think people should think about the environment as in helping it? Sure, do what you want, just don't try to enforce your opinion on me, because I really don't care. I don't destroy the environment, but I don't make it my life's duty to restore it either.

Don't I think it would be better to carpool to reduce traffic? As long as I don't have to drive. It'd suck to be the driver of a carpool and then wreck. Oh, the lawsuits that will follow.

Don't I think trees that are cut down should be replaced? Again - I don't destroy the environment, and I don't make it my life's duty to restore it. Go do something about it instead of asking a pointless question on here if you're so concerned.

"PLEASE CONSIDERATE PPL OF THE WORLD GIVE ME CONSIDERATE ANSWERS. 10 points to the most convincing one ." The most convincing answer? I would say my answer is convincing, but my answer doesn't agree with your opinion. Does that mean I don't get 10 points? Oh well, who cares. Go do something about all this environment stuff you're so worried about instead of asking a question on here...It will do much more good than this.

Humans are omnivores. That means they are a race of animals that eat both meat and plants. Of course we all know we could survive on plants only (vegetarians are the proof), however I guess too many like the taste of meat too much to ant to give up on it. To me it is less the question of eating the meat or not, but rather the way those animals that are raised for food are being kept and then later killed. The same goes for eggs. I purchase free range or oganic eggs only, the same with my meat. This way I kow the animals were somewhat respected as "god's creatures". I also know my food is healthier, as it has not been poisoned with all kinds of hormones and such.
I ONLY agree with animal testing, if there is absolutely no other way to find medical cures for diseases. Animal testing to confirm things we already know (e.g. exposing animals to cigarette smoke to prove it causes lung cancer), or for cosmetic reasons is immoral and should be stopped!!
As far as the environment goes, absolutely! We really need to start worrying about it more. The US should have agreed with the clean air pact. We were the only country that didn't, what a shame. We have to get away from our dependence on fossil fuels. The sooner the better. Until then let's save energy AND other valuable resources wherever we can. Car pooling, riding bikes for short distances, public transport are just the start. How about turning the lights off when we leave a room or not having the TV running non stop? Why is it we need the water running when we brush our teeth? We pollute the air that we breath and the waters we drink and therefor poison the fish we eat. We destroy our atmosphere. The sad thing that we are so selfish to think we have a right to waste as much energy as we like. But what about endangering the lives of everyone on this earth with this "constitutional right" of ours? Clear cutting of forests is another problem. It results in soil erosion if the area is not being replanted right away.

some people can't eat fuits and vegetables and so meat is really all they eat. and yes car pooling would cut down on traffic and help with gas prices but who wants to ride with someone else every day. And have you ever seen a logger in the woods? Do you know how hard they work? If they were to go back and plant a tree for every one they cut it would just take too much out of their day and they would make less money. Leave the planting to some earthy group that wants to save the planet. or the forestry department. We will never be able to stop cutting trees. Look around you how much is made from wood? My father, brother and brother in law are loggers that is all they really know and are very good at it.

You can get your nutrients from other foods and live a very healthy life. Since we all are not vegan & vegitarian I think animal testing is important for public safety - i.e. (mad cow & bird flu), but not to create better cosmetics or pharmecudicals. If more pepole would carpool I think it would not only help the enviornment, but help us to get to know and understand each other and create a better since of empathy and community for the betterment of society. P.S.Always replace what you cut down!

What do people have to do in this world?

Short list is:

1) Pay Taxes.
2) Die.

I don't see anything about eating animals, animal testing, or anything else in your question on the short list.

No, people do not have to eat animals to survive. There are a lot of people who are vegetarians or vegan and they are perfectly healthy. And yes, I agree with all of your questions... unfortunately there are too many careless people in the world who don't think about the enviornment. And one day in the not too far future, we are all going to suffer because of thier carelessness.

Well, you make a good point... hold on... got a piece of veal in my teeth... anyway, good... got it. But, why would God make so many animals tasty and look so good around my neck if he didn't want us to use them for survival. And yes, I consider fur coats a need.

anmals are source of protein while even vegetrians are required to eat whether they like it or not, as for the carpool question, people usually wanted to own their personal cars, as for the third question, trees are use to build homes, even to cement cement buldings.
