i lost it a couple of years ago and i just put some new batteries on the camera and it's got some great pictures i'd like to save but i have no way to connect it to the computer. it has a little 8mb smart card could i do something with that?

Another thing you could do is get a card reader. Card readers are faster and don't wear down the battery on your camera. Card readers are like 20 bucks but worth it.

Just purchase a memory card reader. It is easire and faster plus it will not drain your camera's batteries.
