Since ARV drugs don't act directively on the virus but on its life cycle process. How do virus disappear?

it doesnt....it just doesnt reproduce. Now, the body can get rid of certain infections on its own which is where the virus load actually decreases.Hope that was helpful. I'm sure you were expecting some big long drawn out answer which I could give you about how antibodies in the body work....but thats not what you asked.

All I can say is I being a person with the Hiv virus is this, the meds I am on can only get me down to an undetactable level, which means in blood tests that we have we can only detect levels of active virus say from like my highest level was 1.500.000.00 and now its under 50 copies per 1 micro drop of blood, the virus hides in body tissue, and sleeper cells, which are sleeping atibodys that fought off some infection as long ago as your childhood like measles or mumps what ever, there always with you thru life sleeping until your exposed to the same infection they wake up and remove the infection having fought if once before since the virus hides here also we haven't yet been able to wake them up and get them out because there are so many diffrent antibodys that fought diffrent infection, research is trying to figure this one out, its seems all virus do the same thing hide in the body...we can control a virus from proliferation and notice I say control but killing a virus, if we reach that stage then the common cold will be history, no more missing work!

Each T-cell that is infected with the HIV virus has only a finite lifespan, therefore the way the levels of the virus drop in the infected host is by limiting each cells ability to reproduce the virus. Over time the infected cells die within thier life cycle, and as fewer and fewer cells produce copies of the HIV virus before dying themselves, the overall level of HIV virri in the host goes down. The off side is that not all copies of the HIV virus are located within "active" cells, some are hidden in "dormant" cells. Hope this helps explain things a bit more for you.
