Just as they are different biologically, they are very different emotionally. Give you an example..Men are wired to sight. Most women are wired to touch. Men go for the basics of a story, the skeleton. Women give the details that seem totally irrelevant to men. Most men disconnect from such details waiting for the conclusion! If you can think of men as the skeleton then women are the filler organs...heart, liver, lungs, etc etc...details that make the skeleton complete. Women imply what they mean and leave the man to guessing. Men hit the nail on the head sometimes unknowingly brutal in doing so. The story is told of a couple about to get married, after dinner the said what a lovely moon.She was expecting the man to say . OH yes, lets go for a walk in the garden...something romantic. Instead he said..Oh yes, you should have been there for the game, it was even brighter that night...and he proceeded to share the highlights of the game!!! He did not understand why she was offended and became very frustrated...We think differently, but we can become synchronized in thought if we make the effort to study one another.

It's because most of the time, you are not on the same page as far as intellect. I am married, and I find that nine times out of ten, we can always tell what the other is thinking without them saying anything.
I guess it depends on how well you know each other.

Because our brains operate differently. The thinking patterns are completely different. Also, I think that it is because we are raised differently. In my opinion, men are raised to be more focused on themselves (ie- they get to play with GI Joes and be the war hero) while women are raised to focus more on others (ie- they play with dolls and learn to care for children).
