a slice or white bread has about 60 calories on average... from there it depends on the butter...if you use a little or alot... I dunno maybe add 35 calories for the butter...so your looking at 95 calories. and 12 carbs. that's not much at all
my favorite breakfast food is a granola bar with peanut butter on top and a glass of milk it's got almost 500 calories but it keeps me full for about 4 hours long after you piece of toast will have worn off...
breakfast is suppose to be the biggest meal of the day... try to include at least 3 food groups, and eat 6 small meals instead of 3 large it will work out better for you

It tells you on the packet under "nutritional information". Usually there will be a table for calories per 100gr and also the information per slice. Calories are indicated by the abbreviation 'kcal' (kilo-calories).
The same on the pack for butter or whatever spread you are using. The amount one would normally put on a slice of bread usually varies at about a teaspoonful, approxiamately 10 or 15 grammes per slice.
Add the two amounts together and hey , you have your answer! Happy Eating..
