THE BOOK OF THESAURUS
Chapter 1
1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. 2. And God said Go forth and multiply and the words replied, how can we do this thing, seeing we know not a number? 3. And God said, Never mind, Do as thou art bid. 4. So the words went forth upon the face of the earth and became multifarious and invented. 5. And God said to Adam, Lo! I have given thee words without number. They have names but they have no meaning. 6. So Adam set about giving meaning to the words. 7. But Eve, whom God had given to be his companion in all things, disagreed with some of the meanings which Adam made and they had words. 8. And after nine hundred three score and seventeen leaves the Tree that stood in the midst of the Garden of Eden, which was called the Tree of Life was naked and ashamed, but Adam had created the first Dictionary which contained all the words and their meanings that shall be set down for ever. 9. And Adam looked at his Dictionary and saw that it was good. 10. Then Eve said that she had a headache, so Adam looked in his Dictionary and found the word and understood, so he gathered sundry herbs and made them into a drink for Eve. 11. And Eve said, Nay, I told thee that I had a headache, I did not mean that my head ached. 12. And Adam was sore confused.

that's a great question...who decided who gets to decide what a word is and means..
I mean, who the h*ll is WEBSTER anyway?
what if i said L-U-W-I-Q-E-S-T meant food??? how come that can't be true? why do we have to take MR. WEBSTER"S definition???? i've always wondered that.
also, i don't like some of his definitions either!!!
the "n" in the dictionary says, -- an ignornant person; OR, another definition is --one of dark color... WHAT THE F**K??
i agree with first one, but who gave him the right to determine a definition ?anyway, i've vented. lolololololololololol
