They don't realize they are being rude and obnoxious. They are taught, sometimes from childhood, that it is their duty to 'get the word out' any way they can. They actually believe if they could somehow force you to listen, convert you, they would be saving your soul--and, incidentally, making heaven points for themselves. It is mild fanaticism--at least the Christians don't usually become violent.

No no no ..... It is absolutely wrong to STEREOTYPE or OVER-GENERALISE. It is the same asking why most europeans are racist, for example, and that would be a lie.

Rude people are rude by themselves. It has nothing to do with whether or not they are mulims, christians, hindus, budhists or even pagans. No religion teaches rudeness.

It is important that you first understand that rude people are not real Christians as Jesus said that whoever says to his brother "you fool", is liable to the hell of fire.

On the other hand, truth sometimes hurts and sounds harsh, especially if you consider the emotional travail of the people who lost loved ones on 9-11 and so many other such terrorist attacks perperterated by muslims. It is quite natural to expect people who have been so hurt to lash out at the group of people they feel caused that hurt. And you would too, if you lost someone that way... believe me... Not that all muslims are terrorists, but it does make you wonder what the real issues are, that make a number of them do things like that.

If you want to be a Christian, I would completely encourage you to go full steam ahead. Study the Bible and understand where it all comes from. Christianity teaches that God is Love, and most Christians actually are loving and caring and TRUE Christians are also forgiving and eventually learn to pray even for those that hurt them as Christ commanded.

Most of the Christiansns who know the Bible well, know that each and every person is a gift of God. Created by God in his image and likeness. One should accept people from other religions irrespecivet of them being muslims/hindus, as your brother and sister. But sometimes there are people may be Christians/hindus and muslims who are themselves very restless and disturbed due to personal reasons and thus they get angry with themselves as well as with the people around them

God says that we cannot say that we love him (when we have not seen him) if we hate the person who we can see.

I am a Christian myself and I am proud to be one. But I donot discriminate poeple from other religions. I have a lot of muslim friends and I love them all.

Since Darwin took things out of context I will help explain it to you. We should love our enemies but hate the sin. We, as christians, should not be rude. We should be loving yet hold on to the truth of the lord. Do not be yoked with unbelievers is talking about marriage. It will be a difficult marriage if you marry an unbeliever...not be around them. How can we shine HIS light if we are not around thoes who need HIS light to be shined on. Thoes christian who are doing it rudly does give christians a bad rep and Yes we should remind thoes christian that our job is to spread the good news and to let the unbelievers know that there is hope in God! God will deal with everyone accordingly when we see him.

I am a devout Christian, and I do apologize if you believe we as a religion are rude. That is not our teachings. We are a follower of a God of pure love, and are taught to love our neigbors as we are to love ourselfs. The rude people you are talking about who bad mouth the Muslums are reacting badly to the news we hear on the news. Many Muslums are loving caring people, the radicals are the ones giving them the bad image.

That is not right if you were treated rude or hateful. Everyone has good and bad days, although if they were treating you like that because of who you worship etc, that is not right. We, as Christians are called to be kind and love everyone. it isn't always easy. We are all a work in progress and the only perfect person's name is Jesus.

First, regardless of your religious affiliation, there is a comman ground. That ground it faith. All religious persons have faith in what ever they believe in. But the real test is love. Faith without love is a car without gas. The religious may be empty and not full. Full of God's love and as one who experiences God's love I can proclaim that God's love only comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Other may be religious or believe in what they have been tought or their heiritage in a religion but unless there has been a true relationship with Jesus Christ then we are just religious no matter what title we put on our belief. Muslim, Christian, budest etc. Only truly personally knowing Jesus is there true love. God is Love and He gave His only son to us to pay the price BUT we must chose to believe and trust Jesus and accept Him as the living son of God. He shows us the way and the Bible is the map. We follow Jesus in His example of love and we base our walk on the living Word of God. So Rude, no Love is to be shared.

Is using harsh words to someone who is plunging head long into hell rude? Do you think that Jesus was "rude" when He said these words?

Matthew 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

How do you know what we are taught in our churches every Sunday? Do you attend church? It doesn't seem like it. Here's what I heard in the last sermon I listened to.

2 Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Notice that it says to preach the word in season or out of season. That means preach the word when people want to hear it and when they don't. It also says to rebuke people who follow false teachings. Why?

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

Did you get that? Deceivers preaching that God's Son didn't come into the world in the flesh but was just another "prophet" like Muhammed. That's the teachings of the antichrist that seeks to preach another gospel than the one Jesus gave us.

That's why the Apostle Paul said...

Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

What's really wrong is trying to please men instead of God and allowing people to slide into the pit of hell because people like you might call people like me "rude" for telling others the truth.

I guess general fear. At least for me. I had two female friends that had bad experiences with muslim men. One got beat and cut up by one. The other raped. I notice I am much more cautious and hesitant about muslim men than women.
