Well, let's establish ,up front, that you don't NEED implants. You may want them and that is valid. If you aren't happy with the current situation as it is and you have the means to do something about it then knock yourself out. It is true that they will feel hard and quite uncomfortable for some time. Several of my freinds have had the procedure done and the results were pretty much the same across the board. They end up feeling like a peice of plastic attached to your chest. That doesnt change as time passes. Keep in mind that you can have the lift without the implant. That procedure alone does not have most of the nasty side effects of the implants. The results are much more natural looking and really just puts things back where nature intended. If you are large chested to begin with then this is a much better option as the action of the lift makes the breast fuller. Goodluck to you.

This does need to be thought through. It will hurt afterwards and it takes 6 weeks before you can do anything strenuous. You will need to look after yourself well.

I have had implants and don't regret it - but implants are never the same as real breasts. They look good (often better ) than real ones, but they don't feel as good. I guess it is a bit like when the milk comes though - but not as pleasurable (for me, breast feeding was pleasurable)

A risk is losing sensitivity - and one of my nipples has!! Also, your nipples will stand out more (which can be sexy, but also is a pain if you don't want people to stare at your nipples on some ocasions - eg if you have a job or go to a funeral, it might be inappropriate!! There is a funny side to this...

It is a pity that us women feel we have to have perfect breasts....but I do understand the pressure. And there are often medical reasons for having implants.

I wish you good luck and send supportive thoughts.

Accept yourself, and don't get surgery. I've had a couple long relationships without changing with surgery. And a 20 year marriage. Let people love you as you are because you are already beautiful. If somebody doesn't like you as you are, maybe they are the ones who need to change, or you haven't found the right person. Models on magazines give us the wrong idea of what beautiful people really look like. I'm an average American woman, and feel happy as I am. If I need a boost of confidence, I just buy a new outfit or get my hair done. Be careful, as surgery has risks.

Get your breast implant surgery in India.Cosmetic Surgery (including facelift/ breast enhancement tummy tuck./lipo) is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance in USA or by the stinking NHS in UK

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star .

My cousin got her cosmetic surgery for breast implant surgery and she is more than very happy with the results.SHe is all praise for this forerunners healthcare companyfor the services they provided her.She paid just 30% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her.Excellent stay, food, best surgeons-she just couldnt stop talking.hope this helps.

You won't know the full extent of nerve damage — if any — until you try to nurse.

My girlfriend had the same procedure done a year ago. It's not as easy as they make it look on TV...be prepared for a good month of recovery.

No one NEEDS implants. just like no one needs to dye their hair or wear colored contact lenses. It's completly cosmetic and unless you got hit by a bomb or something there's absolutly no reason to do it.
