Why is it right now.
The right time to change or make amendments to the constitution is when something that affects the whole nation needs to be corrected by the federal government, not the states.
So right now would not be any better or worse a time than any other. Depends on what you want to do to it.

not only does our US govt routinely ignore the Bill of Rights to suit its own ends, but it is trying to change the constitution to entrench discrimination against gay people. what a load of crap.
so, no. changing the constitution during a time of increasing fascism is not the best idea.

both major parties are parties for the ultrarich. No, i don't think its a good time to make adjustments to the constitution until we have
real representation, which we don't...esp considering that the elections are rigged.
