I know sakhon Nakhon, its north east of Thailand, if you want to fly there, you have to arrive in udon thani airport,(north of Thailand) its beautiful, if you want to go in January is better, it will not be very hot. I've been there, my wife's family from there.

Korot is quiet a bit further south than udon thani but if you have a chance to go anywhere and everywhere then do thailand is such a great country !

Sure, I have been to Korat lots. Know the city very very well. Been to the outlying cities too.
