It's said to be the mango (ripe) - best eaten in the bath. I think that barbecue spare ribs take a lot of beating, though. A big contender would be the food served to Army officers, because it's always eaten in a Mess.
When not treated properly, any food can be really messy - especially drinks. My son, Tom, is famed for the Teabag Trick. "Oh look!" he said, as he lifted the teabag from his mug by the little tag (they had just been invented then) and whirled it round his head!
