Home and Away is set in variouus locations on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. The exterior beach shots are at North Palm Beach. You can get there by bus. L90 or E 90. Beaches are public.

Some of the house shots are at Delecta Avenue in Clareville. Bus L89 or E 9., although it is a private house.

I like the Home and Away crews. You hardly notice them when they are shooting.

At the End of the Northern Beaches near Sydney. You can get a bus from a main buss areas station with a green not far from the bridge... (think it was not the harbour one but the other one...)

Can't give more then that you will have to look it up.

Takes a while. 1.5 hours I think on an express bus. Looks like a quiet village with beach when not filming... You cant see the inside set.

www.bugaustralia.com may help especailly for hostels.

If you can GO ON ANDOS OUTBACK TOUR to get the full aussie experience... one of the best things I did there... though not so if a vege.

Thats was an adventure and you end up near the hippie area in Byron Bay.

Note don't do anything stupid like crawl under buildings or walk though buses or stick your hands waround the ground ie spiders

North Palm Beach- They often show the Barenjoey Lighhouse which Hawkesbury River flows out. I fully recommend the area. To get their you get the Palm Beach bus from York Street outside Wynyard Station. Travel time 90 minutes

Its set in a town called Summer Bay, a fictional place which is meant to be near Sydney, at least I think so as they never refer to it by name, simply as "the city"
