Becauses you just called it making love. Making love required an emotional bond. Sex with a friend is just that...sex. It's not making love!!!!

A woman needs to feel something for them to make love to a person.
If a woman considers you a 'Friend' then that is all you will be, if she wants to get close to you then in her own way she will let you know.
It is possible to be just friends with the opposite sex things get complicated when one or the other begins to feel 'differently' about the other with out those feelings being reciprocated (returned).
You should not force these issues on girls if you want to score.

No woman with a good character will want to make love with any man other than their husband. Woman brought up in good family atmosphere do not think that it is a fancy or trend to sleep with any tom, dick and harry they meet.

When a woman or rather ,lady recognizes her own value she very confident and particular how she carries herself. So, what you interpret as fear, is character and dignity at its full display. You should praise her for her excellent character. Women are persons of value and should be treated as such.
