I do. I really try to read it every day. It is not propaganda, it is a spiritual text full of first hand accounts and quotes from Jesus's disciples and from himself. You should not mock the Lord and if you follow the ten commandments, which are also very good moral values to have then you would understand why His word is important and why it should be read. It's one sure way to get closer to your God and Jesus and to understand that we did NOT evolve from a big blast of rocks or apes. Funny how those apes just stopped evolving isn't it? Why didn't the rest join us? You have to be thankful for this world because all that Jesus and God said in the bible has been foreseen and happening in this very day and time. God Bless.

I try and read my Bible every day. Just as the body needs to be fed and trained, and the mind needs to be fed and trained, so my spirit needs to fed and trained.

If I ignore my body for a little while, I can carry on fine with no problems. But over a prolonged period of time I begin to get weak, and eventually I will die. It is no differnt for my spirit, just harder to detect if I am spiritually unaware. The Bible is the Word of God and the food for my Spirit. I don't only survive by food, but by every word my Father speaks to me. Food and excersize sustains my physical existence, The Word sustains my eternal existence.

Dont know bout u - But i read it just to see the blatent contradictions, and unexplainable situations

Eg. Genesis 1:26 '...Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness'
Thought there was only ONE God????

Read Genesis. If Cain was the son of Adam and Eve (the first humans), how did he find a wife after he was banished to 'the land of Nod' for killing his brother??
Was it his sister?? (Eww, Incest)
Or were Adam and Eve NOT the first humans? (Bible All Lies??)
Other explanation??
Who knows. But thats why i read the bible. Its not real. Just a bunch of allegories and codes....

Probably people who wish to know what the Bible says. You dont have to be a christian or to believe in it but the bible is knowledge:
How can you discuss this subject with anyone - even to disagree if you are not educated on it.

I read the bible! I try to read it every day :) we have to wear our full armor! God Bless<><

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. (Ephesians 6:10-18)

me, I read it all the time, this is how I can get close to Jesus Christ and his Father Jehovah God.. without Jehovah we would not have Jesus. I even pray to them all the time. they are my best friends. I can talk to them anytime of the day or night. the bible is real, not stories. if you can not find time for Jesus and Jehovah, then you need to make time. no one has such a busy day that they can not find time for them. they always find time for you. the author of the book is Jehovah God not Jesus
