The moment Satan conceived pride and jealousy in his heart, he was kicked out of heaven. This is because, as you said, there can be no sin there. The moment his sin began, he fell. The reason for the severity of his judgment was that he sinned in the presence of such light.

I guess there was one sin in heaven and it was dealt with.

Who are u gonna call to complain about the someone broke the "no sin in heaven rule"? A lawyer? The police?

Try reading the bible and thinking about what the text is trying to say and you will learn more. You think you can poke one hole in religion and the whole thing deflates like a balloon. Good luck.

Okay traditionally, the story goes that Satan rebelled against God, and a third of angels rebelled with him. So there came a war in heaven, and Satan and his third were "cast out of heaven."

However, just to make things interesting, I should note something. This story is taken from the book of Revelation. Putting this "casting out" in the past, means an interpretation of the Book of Revelation as things that happened prior to 120 C.E. (Common Era).

Now if you side with many christians, that the book of Revelation is about the future....
This story is in the middle of the predictions of future events. So, if you buy the future interpretation, does that mean that the "casting out" has not happened yet? Does that mean that Lucifer (an archangel by creation, whose name means Light) is still in heaven, by God's mercy? And in His mercy, God is hoping that Lucifer will turn to follow Creator once more?

I hope for the second interpretation. Because if God can be so merciful as to wait on Lucifer, than there is definitely hope for me.

Thus is a mystery of life. That question has been asked for centuries. I've heard a lot of mumble jumble but never heard a clear explanation. I could only guess he/she figuratively got kicked out not literary. Obviously I'm not a fundamentalist and I don't have all the answers. If someone says they know, run for the hills.

“for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” In eternity past Satan was kicked out of heaven at when he sought to usurp God’s throne,

“And there was war in heaven”

I not sure who initiates this war. I am not sure it is started by Satan in a final attempt to accomplish his dream or Michael to end Satan’s access to heaven. Whatever the case, the winner is without doubt. We read in verse 8 that the dragon and his angels “prevailed not, neither was their place found anymore in heaven.” The words "cast out" in verse 9 mean to "be hurled." Instead of being a victor in this war, the devil is hurled out of heaven. The tense of the words indicate that he is cast out for good. He no longer has access to heaven to accuse the brethren. The doors of heaven are shut to the devil and he is barred from having access to heaven.

There can be no sin in heaven - thus - he got kicked out. I think you answered your own question in a round about manner.

There is no sin in Heaven permitted. Satan or Lucifer if you prefer was one of the highest angels. He had some freedom of choice and he chose to be jealous of man and to go against God. He sat himself up to be as an equal to God and he got his just reward. Now he spends his limited time trying to trick people and take as many with him as he can.

i think oicus meant how can there be jealousy in heaven in the first place if sins dont exist in heaven, so with that information think about it more clearly than just saying he or she just answered their own question.

As soon as there was "iniquity found within him" He was fallen.
13 You were in Eden,
the garden of God;
every precious stone adorned you:
ruby, topaz and emerald,
chrysolite, onyx and jasper,
sapphire, [b] turquoise and beryl. [c]
Your settings and mountings [d] were made of gold;
on the day you were created they were prepared.

14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub,
for so I ordained you.
You were on the holy mount of God;
you walked among the fiery stones.

15 You were blameless in your ways
from the day you were created
till wickedness was found in you.

16 Through your widespread trade
you were filled with violence,
and you sinned.
So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God,
and I expelled you, O guardian cherub,
from among the fiery stones.

17 Your heart became proud
on account of your beauty,
and you corrupted your wisdom
because of your splendor.
So I threw you to the earth;
I made a spectacle of you before kings.

18 By your many sins and dishonest trade
you have desecrated your sanctuaries.
So I made a fire come out from you,
and it consumed you,
and I reduced you to ashes on the ground
in the sight of all who were watching.

19 All the nations who knew you
are appalled at you;
you have come to a horrible end
and will be no more.' "
