Shouldn't a Christian be legitimately paying for someone's musical works, and not skulking about illegal P2P networks?

As a musician, this always gets in my craw. How are musicians supposed to make money, if nobody feels they have to be paid for what they do? Recording music is expensive, and playing music in a niche like Praise and Worship music makes nobody other than Amy Grant and Michael W Smith rich - it is robbery from people who can ill afford it.

St. Paul wrote, "Do you not know that those who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple and those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings in the same way the Lord commanded? That those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel."

I'm sure it is on iTunes.

Pay the 99 cents for it.

I would suggest that you hit the p2p networks and see if you can pick up a copy - if it is old enough it might not still be in copyright.

It is available on emule (mainly Chris Tomlin but other versions as well) although I can't see any date info so copyright may apply.
