What are the huts like on the route burn track do I need to carry cooking equipment and food or not?

James - I've not been on the Routeburn myself - but I think you can see how the hut(s) look by going here:

And seeing all the photos people have submitted from/of the Routeburn hut.
I would find one of those users with photos and send them a flickr message with your question if you don't get a definite answer here.

You not need to carry cooking but others need it because they not have you :)
