I am just curious. What does religion have to do with how did we come to exist? In my opinion religion is just a set of beliefs that do bind one to a specific group or class that can not or will not look at things with an open mind [Note again I said my opinion].

It seems to me that most all hear the word Bible and then think they heard the word religion. Likewise that word Bible means a conflict does exist between creation and evolution thus the origin of the human species is a debatable issue.

It is true I am against religion because of its many automatic mind sets that the word does put in the minds of the hearers of that word. Thus when ask what is my religion I do reply with a "NO" answer.

If one is searching for the origin, turn to all available information that may shed light on the subject. These are science, history, written records, and of course the oldest written book know to humankind, the Bible. Study as much as possible then try to put together some possible conclusions that do fit in a constantly consistent truthful picture. But never turn to or be mislead by that word religion. Just set aside that word.

Well, no one knows for sure. Most scientist will admit that we did not evolve-they know that now. Some scientist believe we were created by God just like the Bible says, but most will not even discuss that idea. So we are stuck without an answer if we believe majority opinion. I have look at both sides of this issue as deep as I can. I have studied creation/evolution for about 3 years. My conclusions are until someone comes up with some real science to disprove it-not just personal opinions-I will believe in creation. The evidence to support it is overwhelming. Only those who refuse to admit they are wrong stand against it. Stubbornness is not scientific enough for me. I'll bet my life on God.

If you leave out evolution, then one has to be foreced into? the realm of the supernatural or religion? perhaps? Why wouldn't you want an answer of evolution? However, I do have problems with evolution, since no reputable group can ever seemto find those missing links which supposedly connect our present day skeletal system to those of of our ancestors. Divine intervention? well maybe? SERIOUSLY? HOW ABOUT genic alteration by higher beings than us..over the last 300,000 years=extra terrestrial intelligence?

Most people are against religion,you're right.
But most people are not against God.
They are only against what God is purpoted to be by people.
They would like to get to know Him,nobody runs away from love and light.
Light shows up your faults and mistakes and if you are sincere,you will change.
That's why the theory of evolution is so appealing to some people...you don't need to change,or be accountable to any religion.
But a wise ,sincere man loves the Light.

Bad question. You are assuming that most people are anti-religion. False.

Secondly, you think "evolution" and religion can not be reconciled.
False.

Third, its what they call on tv crime shows a "leading question"
you think that if someone cant answer the question about origins of the solar system, the planets and life on earth then they must conclude that God did it.

If I can't say evolution, a random convergence of biologies.

I'm not against religion, I just hate it when self righteous bible thumping Christians try to shove their beliefs down my throat and tries to tell me how to live my life. I know that I am a good person.

What kind of GOD would say: "Thou shalt not have any other Gods before me!"..... is he a control freak or just insecure?

What's "your God" got against a little competition? Is he afraid of loosing control over you? Your Church has certainly brain washed you!

I DO BELIEVE there is another life beyond this one as I was almost killed 30 years ago. The night my Father died, I felt him touch my face with the warmth of the sun.... I live in Canada, my Father lived in California.

I got permission from what I believe to be "my God", long ago and you assume I'm asking your permission to live my life the way I live it.

God does not care about how you worship, or which bible you read from, and there is only one God. We just approach him from different angles.

Your Christian closed mind has resulted in wars and countless deaths over the centuries. You are entitled to your view, as I am entitled to mine. Just keep yours to yourself and your fellow believers.

AND NO..... I AM NOT A SATAN WORSHIPER!

I'M A SPIRITUALIST.

The lizard people who live deep beneath the earth have a technology that is millions of years more advanced than ours. They created us through selective 'breeding', genetic manipulation. They tried many different human species, like the Neanderthal, the Homo Brigansis, but we were the only one allowed to survive. The lizard people also created the grey 'aliens' to act as their servants and collect our DNA, which they still play with.

So if we don't know how we came to exist the answer must be "God?"

That's not very clear thinking. In the days before people knew about germs & viruses, they thought sickness were caused by God or demonic possession or whatever. Now we know that's not true. Just because the answer isn't clear today doesn't "prove" there's a god.

Good question, friend! None of us can say that I have neither father nor mother, although they are trying all their efforts to provide that foolish idea. The most high shall laugh at them in the day of wrath and Judgment.

But our job is not to judge others. The Bible says:
" For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. (Hebrews 10:30);
"Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people. (Deuteronomy 32:43)
Our job is to proclaim the word of God into the world, to these unsaved who is still under the bondage of Satan and sin just the same like before we were saved. The only reason that we can be saved is all by God's Grace and election before the foundation of the world.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8);
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15);
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10: 17)

Once again , we must make sure before we die that we are truly believe in God, Our faith is the true faith of from God , not the belief of the devil .
“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” (James 2:19)

May God bless you!
