One of 3 possibilities, your parking brake switch not fully closed, check your brake fluid level in brake master cylinder,or your low brake fluid switch,Check your connections ant these switches also and make sure they have good contact and good fit.

Check to make sure your e-brake switch did not become disconnected from it's wiring, or did not pop out of the bracket that it's screwed into. Those switches are usually plastic threaded into a steel frame or locked in with a thin jam nut. If you are absolutley positive that everything is still functioning properly, this is the most likely cause.

Try pulling up on the emergency brake foot pedal and see if the light goes out when you do this. If the light does no go out, When the pedal goes down it activates a switch somewhere under there, that switch could be bad.

Unplug the 1 and only wire that goes to the parking brake and see if it goes out. If its still on then the fluid is low.
