You have been watching too many cowboy movies.
Obviously you had a bad experience with the police so now you need to shame them.

Because this is how it goes: forget the badge and the gun and the car with the lights the cops friends with all the other cops and the judges and so on so if he does something thats wrong and its concileable they help him, just like doctors do each other when one of them fucs up, they all lie and say well that was his best option at the time. Oh well someones life was destroyed or someone got killed but hey we're humans too we make mistakes. But why is it when a cop makes a mistake all he gets is a slap on the wrist unless is something thats going to cause a public uproar if he dosnt get slamed hard.

Police departments don't think their above the law! Occcasionally a policeman will act that way but the vast majority are good people with families and friends like the rest of us. If you wonder why they protect each other try being shot at (or hit) a few times and see who you want with you then.

I don't know what State you live in or maybe your watching to much Television. I don't know or have I seen any Police Officers acting the way your describing in this question. I don't think anyone, not even Police Officers are above the law.

Because there ISN'T anyone to police
the police. They break the law in their own patrol cars...I've witnessed it.(Lights & siren to get through a red-light only to then pull in to a store & come out w/a cup of coffee...for 1 example)
None of them are actually EVER given a ticket if stopped for a violation when off duty by another officer. But the WORST is a small town cop who's bored.LOOK OUT for those guys!!

There are those kind of people in all walks of life. Most of the officers I know are people who dedicate their lives to serve others. Can you say you make a difference or make this world a better place.

Because I have this theory that 98% of all cops were those nerds picked on in highschool who couldn't make it in a regular 9 to 5 job. And now that they've got a little power they are going to abuse it.

You'll get those cocky guys, but the majority are not like that. Some people just should not be an officer, but they get the job because they appear confident and in shape. It's sad but true.

You see this kind of crap in the movies and on the television, and whenever one out of the millions of law enforcement professionals makes a mistake or acts this way, the liberal television media blows it out of proportion and reports it like and enemy attack on U.S. soil. Honestly, how many of these kind of cops that you refer to have you really encountered in your pathetic little life?

Nah, I'm no er..... "fig plucker" but know it just seems so. There's a difference tween a scoff-law, and an asshole. I'd agree with anyone sayin that most cops are pricks.
