My girlfriend has very bad epilepsy seizures everyday! She said there are no other options she could take and she's on Keppra and she's worried she might be allergic to it too since she was allergic to the 100 or so medicines she's tried out in the past. The other day her neck was swollen and now her chest is tightening.

If you know the different types of epilepsy drugs she could take, let me know even if she's taken them already. I need all the help I can get, I want to make my baby healthy and happy!

Thank you

If your girlfriend is allergic to so many medications, surgery may be required. The medical field has improved so much in the last few years. She needs to consult with her doctor as soon as she possibly can. Having seizures every day is too, too much; this is very hard on your girlfriends whole body well-being, and totally unacceptable. I hope this helps.

She really should be dealing with this thru her doctor. He must have available to him the different kinds of medicines for this. It's just going to have to be trial and error till she finds one that works. If nothing else, she can get one of those dogs that can sense when an attack is coming on and she can be prepared for it. I saw a story about one that was really amazing. Animals can do so much for people. I just saw a story tonight where they are training dogs to sense for cancer in people.
