hi, first i want to tell you that i think your a wonderful person, and that i am so sorry about your girlfriend. these side effects do not sound good at all! there are 40 diffrent types of sezures, each treated to best suit the person and their symptoms. here are a few meds. she may want to check into. that may help. lamictal, carbamazepine, carbatol, clobazam, cloazepam, depakote, depakote (er),diastat, dilantin, felbatol, frisium, gabapentin, gabitril, , lyrica, mysoline, neurontin, phenobarbital,phenytek, sabrill, tegretol, topamax, trieptal, valproic acid , zarontin, zonegran, and zonisamide. there is also a surgery that proves to be very successful in treating seizures, also check into the new clinical trials at www.epilepsy.com, or if you would like more info.chat with others about epilepsy at www. myepilepsy.com good luck and may GOD BLESS you both.

If your girlfriend is allergic to so many medications, surgery may be required. The medical field has improved so much in the last few years. She needs to consult with her doctor as soon as she possibly can. Having seizures every day is too, too much; this is very hard on your girlfriends whole body well-being, and totally unacceptable. She really should be dealing with this thru her doctor. He must have available to him the different kinds of medicines for this. It's just going to have to be trial and error till she finds one that works. If nothing else, she can get one of those dogs that can sense when an attack is coming on and she can be prepared for it. I saw a story about one that was really amazing. Animals can do so much for people. I just saw a story tonight where they are training dogs to sense for cancer in people.
