On the contrary of what you might think, I do believe in God, and to atheists who constantly say: "Why there's evil if there's an all-good and merciful God?" And the answer is pretty simple:
Let's suppose God didn't allow evil, nor did he create it, how would we know what is good? How would we appreciate goodness? For example:
If the whole world was wealthy, how would anyone know that's a good thing? He would take it for granted. But if there were poor people, how you would know what is being rich like, and be thankful for it. That simple!!

God doesn't necessarily allow evil, per se. God allows freewill. he's not going to force you ro be good or anything and some people chose to not be good, for whatever reason. i believe, after having read a quote, that evil is the complete absence of good. evil itself doesn't exist, like darkness which is the absence of light (y'all all read that email, so don't front). people chose, freely, whether or not to be good. when they don't, thevoid left where they're goodness would be is evil.

you're point is valid as well.

If there was no evil then the universe would be thrust into chaos because there is nothing to counter balance the good and vice versa. Everything has an opposite without that opposite there is chaos. That is why there is evil.

God is neither good nor bad. It has a duality like all things. At best, it is nuetral. God kills
thousands of Egyptian babies in the Ols Testament, and tells his people to kill all living things in the new land of Isreal. What the hell were people thinking ? Killing in the name of god? My country right or wrong ? I don' believe in that god. I believe in a light the world needs to come together and heal. We are all we have.

Yes, wat u said is right, dont forget that the Devil was worshiping allah too. But bec of his ego, wen Allah told all the Angels even Iblis to make Sajda in front of Adam (A.S. Bec the satan thought that he was made with fire so, he was more powerful; than earth ( with which Adam(A.S) was created). SO by his arrogance, Allah banished him from heaven, so this is how he challenge Allah, that he will divert all the decendence of Adam, n take them on the wrong path, so Allah gave him power to do so, but he also told him that, he want be able to divert those who have chose to follow the right path, that is Allah's path.

This is why, Allah hate arrogance. Do u know y Iblis did dare to challenge Allah, n y he was so arrogant, i've read in a Hadith that, Allah gave Iblis power to divert us on wrong path, but one thing which shows that Allah is most merciful is that, he did not gave him the power to give n take life. N moreover, Allah has reserve a especial punishment for satan, one which is the most horrible one, there is a surat in which there is the most beautiful praises for allah which only Iblis knows. n however bad u can be, but if u read that Surat, Allah forgive all sins commited. On the day of Qiyyaamah, Iblis will try to read this Surat so that Allah forgives him, but Allah will make him forget all, n will make him suffer thousand death. He is very arrogant for knowing the surat.

Btw, thx for giving me the best answer, but i didnt told u all that for the best answer, i did told u all that bec u really deserve it. That all n if u have any other Hadith to share or want me to share, dont hesitate to contact me ok bye.

May Allah bless u.

being over-good leads to becoming bad. see, if things become good all the time, now that's being bad.. then the world will be senseless.. that just means we live to overcome sufferings and be happy with how dealt with it.. some people live by their own reasons, all of which concerns evill-ness and good-ness. now that is equilibrium-ity...

I was just thinking:

If what you say is true, we know good because he allows bad, and God is mercifull....

....what bad stuff did He NOT put on this earth because of His infinite mercy?

Don't answer that. We can not possibly know or imagine and I'm very happy I can't.
