There are lots of sites that give exercises to do at home.
And show you how to perform them correctly.
I.E. crunches for the abs. Push ups for chest & arms.
If you look around you'll find things you can use as wieghts. Discarded plastic bottles, etc. Which you can fill with water. In the days before barbells, people in Greece used to work out by lifting things like rocks. (I kid you not). So you need to a bit inventive. I don't mean lugging boulders around.
Also check with a library they usually have books for training or they can order them in. (And it's free).
I know what you mean tho, gym membership can be a bit expensive, even for people on good salaries.
Good luck with your training.

Getting a 6 pack is about body fat percentage. Everyone has abs, we just have crap over them that stops them from being visible. A 6 pack is made in the kitchen, not in the gym. As long as you have some decent muscle mass and you're not a little toothpick, you'll have abs when you get your body fat down around 8-12% All the advice other people are giving you is not going to show your abs. It will make your core strong and it's good for you, but that's not how you get a 6 pack. If you want to show off your abs, you need to learn how to eat right.

of course a free way to get a nice bod is exercise with a balanced diet! all you need is your will, discipline and patience. of course it would take longer for you to see the results but it is a good start. improvise equipments. for your arms, you could use quite heavy but portable things at your house as weights, for your chest and arms, you can also do push-ups or pull-ups. for nice toned abs, you can do crunches. start with a 2 sets with like 30 repetitions per set. and then as you go along, you can do more repetitions.

Push ups. Try different varieties (i.e. one arm, as suggested above), wide, narrow. Sit-ups. Deep lunges, one or two in each direction depending on how much space you have. Fill up two gallon bottles with sand or water and carry them while doing lunges and squats. They also work well as weights for certain arm and shoulder exercises.
