It messes with your brain waves and you don't know how to speak. That should be, " What is the disadvantages of playing video game(s)?"

Video games can "corrupt" the mind. Recently someone shot a police officer to death and said that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was his "influence." The family then proceeded to try to get rich off a multi-million dollar lawsuit. Playing video games can make your brain deteriorate if you're not constantly sharpening it. Playing video games constantly can damage your eyes. They may also turn you into a person with "no life." If you're epileptic (spelling?) it can cause seizures. Plopping down in front of the TV or computer may reduce exercise. Also, the answerer before me said it consumes electricity. It doesn't. The computer uses 2% of energy out of 100%. The telly uses less than 10% of that energy also.

One might get myopia and may be addicted to it. Playing video games also uses up a considerable amount of electricity which can be used for more important things.

playing video games for too long decreases the amount of free time that you have to do other activities. people can become addicted to gaming. overall i do not believe that video games are bad, but you have to place limits on the amount of time you spend playing games.
