ok, I need to stop thinking about this guy who I have hung out with a few times. It seems that he's all I think about lately... all the time, and I have decided not to think about him anymore, only I don't know how. My reason? I guess I'm the only one who likes him and also I have been seeing clues... You may think I'm crazy, but I prayed and asked God to give me a clue whether I should call him or not, and my cell phone was working fine, but at that moment, it had absolutely no reception and so I figured that was a clue from God (ha ha, but I did believe it) and unfortunately I called him anyways and he didn't pick up and I left a message and he hasn't called back yet (it's been over 8 hrs since I left the message). The other clue is I went shopping and I found a t-shirt that says "he didn't lose your number, He's just not into you!" and I thought it was made for me. I did not buy the t-shirt...
Anyways, I have decided to forget him, the only problem is, How can I forget him?Help.

Get yourself busy, busy, busy with something that you are really into! Doesn't matter what it is, as long as it is interesting enough to completely occupy your thoughts. Read a good book, watch a movie that really holds your interest, not something that just mosey's along...duh, duh dum, de dum! You need to give your poor mind a break! If you can concentrate on something else for a while, you will find that for a brief while, you weren't thinking of him. Then, you find something else to do. Wash dishes by hand, and while you are doing it, put your favorite cd on, the one that you sing out loud to. Let the dishes take an hour to do, (or cook, or clean out your closet) and try very hard to sing to each song, every word. Keep doing things like this and in a short while you will be shocked, ... lol ... nay, super surprised! at how long it's been since you thought of this guy.
I don't laugh at your prayers, nor at what you considered signs. I think the fact that he didn't pick up when you did call, or that he didn't call back were signs. It's like God was saying..."Hey! You asked for a sign, or a clue! I have given you three, what more do you want!?" Seriously, just keep believing, and keep a prayerful heart that God will help you get this guy out of your mind, and you will be good to go quickly!

You know, you are like me.I always ask God to give me clues and he does.Seriously and I understand you.And about this guy I was in similar situation I was the one to sent him messages and he didn't call back so I decided(as you)to stop thinking.At the beginning it didn't work, but you should try just a little.First of all you must focus on other things, something interesting that will keep you busy.Also stop listening all the songs that remind you and stop looking at his picture(if you have it).Go to some new places and meet people,they will help you to forget him.Try to focus on other guys.And remember time heals everything.I wish you luck.

Also, maybe think about getting a dog.

the soul is made of 3 parts - your mind, your will and your emotions. basically, your mind WILL think whatever you WILL it to - then your EMOTIONS will follow. The problem is that if we don't make DECISIONS, then our EMOTIONS will just do whatever it pleases UNTIL we make a DECISION. When you make a decision to FORGET him and MOVE ON, your MIND thinks about it and slowly but surely your EMOTIONS will follow. Try it, it WORKS.
