You may have neck strain, or are not sleeping with proper support for your neck and or back. Try getting a better pillow made for your neck, and sleeping on your side with a pillow between your knees. You could also Not be getting enough rest, in general, or suffering stress and not resting well.

Check with a doctor in any case, if the above does not help you.

What is your pillow made of? Switch, as you may be allergic to a material in it. Try a new detergent for your sheets, and be sure there are minimal rugs and drapes in your bedroom. Also, check where your bed is: is there a draft? Are you setting the AC too high? Do neck rolls before bed and when you first get up--don't jump out of bed, but sit up slowly. Make sure you are hydrated properly. Good luck.

Me too! Maybe it's your mattress and pillow?I have trouble with my back and neck and I sure I could use a new bed.And like you I only get 5 hours of sleep a night. Some of it might have to do with anxiety?Do you have a lot on your mind and can't shut down at night?

you need a better sleeping postion or a better pillow. I feel like that when I sleep with a pillow and actaullay sleep better without it. It tends to give me a neck ache.

might be the position your sleeping,..also try to exercise your neck on a regular basis, Stretching will help, I used to have the same thing.. went to physiotherapy and that helped out immensely, they showed me how to do basic stretches, which in turn relieved the migraines i got almost evryday.

Wow. I have the same thing. Whenever I have depression, I get harsh neck pain. Talk to your doc. I use herbs to curb my depression.
