That is a matter of your own opinion. Just because someone doesn't have the same beliefs as you that does not make that person a idiot. You are just stereotyping that individual which is not right because if you are religious I doubt your religion consist of being judgmental towards others and not to mention rude.

They're not idiots. Their beliefs simply make you feel uncomfortable, so your only way to deal with it is, to publicly criticize them on Yahoo! Answers.
They think that a belief in God does more harm than it does good to the world. And who are you to tell them differently. If everyone in the world was all the same, following the same religion blindly, it would be a very boring world, and nothing would ever get done.
When will people learn that people are not all the same? And that difference makes life interesting and better for everyone else in the long run.

Atheists aren't idiots. They are foolish people who have been tricked by marxists into giving up their faith. Most have no idea that their "atheism" is something that has been done to them as part of a greater manipulation. If they knew the truth and the sheer scope of the problem, they would be very angry.
Truly marxism is one of the most potent tools of the forces of evil in this world.

Among non-believers, there are atleast two types. One who have decided that there cannot be a supreme. No hope for them. But those who are ready and open for looking at it without a blind belief , they have a much better chance of experiencing the Supreme than those who blindly believe. Blind belief is again a judgement, closed to further possibility of really 'looking'. And blind belief is because of lack of personal experience. No hope for them also. I think that explains who could be smart and who are not !

You are speaking of the atheists that think themselves superior to the rest of us because they can find imaginary contradictions in the Bible, the ones who consider religion to be a crutch the weak need and the especially the ones who try (but fail) to prove the in-existence of God.
Though we might label them as 'idiots', the Christian faith disproves of such claims. As Jesus said: 'Let he who has not sinned throw the first stone'. Each of us have comitted sins, none of us is capable of judging others. Only God is able to do that.

Not all Atheists are 'idiots' as you would say. We don't believe in any 'gods.' We choose our own path. We do not believe in the teachings of the Bible. We do not believe in the ways or the culture. Not all of us are self-centered and think we're sooooo smart.
I've done my research and yet, they have no proof of anything.
And btw, YOU'RE the idiot. You're the one complaining about people.

Several years ago, I was invited to speak to a room filled with atheists who were socially sensitive, environmentally proactive, and intellectually congruent. Those who label atheists as "idiots" had better take a close look while they stand before a full-length mirror.

You're completely correct, of course. The true sign of intellectual ability is someone who unquestioningly accepts everything written in a 2000-year-old book. That's intelligence, wisdom and 'smarts' for you. The rest of us are merely too stupid to comprehend that everything the Bible says must be true because it's in the Bible.

It is not nice to name peope idiot because of their believes.
I understand why you say so, because there are some people who say that they are atheist just to be seen different than others in the society.
Atheists sorry but I cannot understand how you can say you do not believe in a Creator...

Okay. For one, you do not mix opinions with other things. That is just harmful on your end just as much as the recieving end. For another, why do you reach out to cause conflict? That is surely not the way to go, but it is your choice. All I can say is have fun doing what ever you want to do (This goes for everyone). Cheers!
