There's something wrong with IE6 on another computer and I was thinking I should use IE7 Beta 2 on it instead. Is that version worth the upgrade? I know about Firefox, but let's disregard it for now because I still can't adapt to the application.

IE7 beta 2 uses tabbed browsing, a big plus, yet it is not as configurable as firefox.

It is very much worth the upgrade, the security is almost TOO good!

The popup blocker and IE defender still remains from IE6.

It is a good quality upgrade from IE6.

Also, a warning, do NOT perform a system restore after installing IE7 or you will get an error at startup everytime you turn on your computer. If you need to system restore, uninstall IE7 first.

I am not sure, if my comp has any problem, but my IE7 Beta 2 seems too slow, even slower than the IE6 but I have no problem with the firefox.

Beta applications are trial versions, for users to try how it performs and how stable the software is. I don't usually use one until I get the final release. Internet Explorer is fine but I prefer Firefox. It's a matter of getting used to it.

i attempted putting it on a working laptop or computing gadget for my sister who needed parental controls for her son yet they did no longer artwork,,it continues to be Beta after all. you in addition to might might run into web content that don't understand that version and attempt to tell you which you want IE. i do no longer think of it rather is all that magnificent and you need to run into issues. merely my observations.
