Identify the types of books she's interested. Browse through the book. See if you can relate any activities or objects according to the book which interests your mom. There must be some clue to your moms interests. Now, i'm quite sure that you know what to get your for the birthday. Good Luck!!!

Get her a gift card from a book store and tell her "I know how much you love to read and since we don't have the same taste in books, now you can pick what you like.

Perhaps a gift card. That away she can pick out whatever she likes, and you know she will love it! Maybe she'll spend the gift card on a new book to read, or something she is in need of. Hoped I helped!

How about a a gift certificate for a 30 or 60 min massage, or a pedicure,or a day of pampering at a spa?
Also alot of Mom's enjoy being treated to a nice dinner with their child/children.
Good Luck and I hope your Mom has a great B-Day. :)

I've gotten my mom bath stuff for her b-day before.. Also flowers are nice and little things she likes. OH THIS IS A GOOD ONE. For Christmas I bought small gold rings for both of us.. Just small thin gold bands..plain. No diamonds of anything. :) Like a mother daughter thing. We both always wear them and she really loved the idea. Make sure it's real gold though. You can get them for like 49 dollars each at Kays or Fred Meyer Jewelers. I think that would be a good one. :) Good luck!
