Of course not. Wisdom includes tolerance for the things we don't understand or disagree with. If someone judge's and entire religion, country, race, culture or gender based on the actions, it is stereotyping the entire group.
I am a white, Christian woman. If a few white, Christian women rob a bank, does that make all white Christian women bank robbers?
Religious fanatics of any denomination or belief comprise only a small percentage of the denomination as a whole and it is unfair to condemn everyone based on the actions of a few.

I do not believe so as it is not the preaching which is at fault but the persons who practices, most definitely not so correctly, who are at fault. I am not a great admirer of Hitler, yet I am most of the time awed by the outstanding speeches Hitler made during his phenomenal rise and ultimately fall. They were patriotic and meaningful. The victorious Allied forces may today condemn the Holocaust and consider it blasphemy to even think of debating its pros but history can not deny what the Jews did to make such a patriotic and a totally devoted German to come to the conclusion that only the annihilation of the Jews could save Germany and the world at large. This is no fault of the holy prophet Moses (may peace be on his soul) or the religion he preached. It is the persons or the group of persons who decided to practice Judaism the way they are doing now who are at fault and not the teachings of the Messenger of God. So if the Muslims are targeted today it is because the interests of the Jews are at stake, the same way the Germans were target before the Holocaust.

You apparently know little about Islam. Islam has been around years and years before Muslims even came on the seen.
Get off this peaceful Muslim syndrome.
Islam religion is: Islam Militants. They have been here forever. They are a Militia group. The Koran is the Book.
Muslims are trying to rewrite it and take some of the violence out. They won't get it done.
The ONE world religion during the Tribulation will be what? Militia Islam. They will cut heads off for what? Not denying Christ and accepting the Mark of The Beast.
You think chopping heads off today in the middle east is something NEW?

The Crusades, the invasion of America (the continent, I mean, by Spain, starting in 1492), the Inquisition, etc. are all there to prove that Christianity can lead to brutality, too. And also those were done in the name of God, and quoting some fragments from the bible. All religions can lead to brutal action, because their base is the belief that they hold all the truth, and the denial of any truth in every other belief. And the different popes who have ruled ever since have not entirely apologised for that. Not that I'm expecting them to, but I can see they still support what they did.

NO, I do not believe it is not a proper basis for criticism.
The problem as I see it is this: when a self proclaimed christian, like Eric Rudolph blows up a bunch of innocent people in Christ's name - Many Christians will criticize him and apologize publically by explaining that good Christians do not kill innocent people.
In America, The Muslim community is typically viewed as in agreement with radical Islam because they do not distance themselves from those who kill innocents and yell "Allah Akbar" instead. Unlike the religious leaders we are used to hearing from denouncing horrible acts Christians commit, too many Imam in America are silent.
Do not be too surprised that Americans form a negative opinion because of this. What exactly are we supposed to think when both the leaders and members are silent against terrorism committed by members of their religion?

Jews & Christians don't care what Muslims or anyone else who does not support them does.
They will tell any lie or exaggerate any incident that they can exploit to promote their perpetual victim status and to make their opponents appear to be savage, immoral monsters.
They've been doing it so long, they do it by habit.
Don't take it personal and don't try to defend it. Just ignore them, they aren't worth the effort.
salaam alikham...
I saw two guys "fighting" on the side of the street in Riyadh one day. They looked like two girls fighting. It is hard to reconcile that rather comical image (they were hitting each other with their ghutras) with the images the Zionist controlled media attempts to promote.
alikham salaam....

You have a legitimate question. Let me contend that organized religion seems to exist in order to make people feel more comfortable with the fact that we're all going to die one day, and as a result, it is often based dogmatically speaking, upon fear and fear alone. Frightened people are capable of great attrocities while they busily defend their beliefs against fear. Great teachers however; the Buddha, Christ, Mohammed and so on, have spoken of love and integrity. There is a commonality to all faiths if one is willing to see it, and it is very simple. Love is the law. Love without judgment, love without anger ... divine love. Dogma of most organized religions hides this from us because it is based on fear. Love is about hope, and hope requires true faith and true effort. The world seems hopeless because fear requires no effort at all.

A pearl of a query amid a sea of trash. This section has advance into overrun with reactionaries and taunters. It advance right into a breath of unpolluted air to confirm your question. i think of you already comprehend the reply to the question, yet right this is my attitude: by potential of nature, people are stable trend matchers. We learn at as quickly as to examine people, suggestions, issues and stipulations with a view to confirm no remember if or no longer they're nicely worth added attention (secure/risky, case in point). as a consequence, we've an inner sorting equipment that at as quickly as places issues into very standard packing containers (theist, atheist) with an extremely standard, lowest-uncomplicated denominator description that should in certainty describe each and all the contents in each and each container. This description will constantly record in direction of each and each guy or woman's very own biases, observations and preconceptions. If we elect to, we are in a position to take a added planned look right into a definite container and type its contents added (extremist, centrist, and so on). At each and each successive step, we fix issues into smaller and smaller packing containers, using finer and finer filters to result the type. in some unspecified time interior the destiny we'd attain a factor the place each and each man or woman, theory or venture is in it rather is very own guy or woman container. At that factor, we've reached some semblance of comprehend-how (a minimum of in our very own concepts). the concern with it rather is that it takes time and theory. regrettably, Yahoo solutions isn't a place the place the two of those commodities is in abundance.

I think in the case of the Islamic terrorists it's because they always make sure to point out that they are doing evil in God's name.
