The love of my life broke up with me. A lot of signs point back to the fact that she still does love me, and she really wants to be with me. A good friend said that i should play hard to get, and wait for her to realize what shes missing...but im too scared that she wont, and all the time waiting around will be lost, and ill lose her forever. I know a lot of you out there will say that she made up her mind and whatever else. I know her better than anyone though, and I know how much it hurts her to be apart. Please Help?

OMG, this happened to me and my boyfriend a few yrs ago. I was sure that I did not want to be with him, now I kick myself for the years I missed out on. Playing hard to get will get you nothing. Give it a little time and try talking to her. She maybe scared or unsure. Just continue to be nice not spiteful. Show her what she is missing out on. I told my boyfriend that there is this song and if he had played it for me that I would have melted and ran back into his arms. Not sure who sings it but the title is "If your not the one". My boyfriend also said I was the love of his life and lost me. I know that this advice may sound lame, but I have been thru the sam situation. If you love her like you say you do, dont give up. If she feels the same all will be wonderful. If she doesnt then she was not worth the effort. I would love to know how it all works out. Good luck.

Your friends are right. Play hard to get. It sounds like you care for this girl a great deal.
Don't dispair if it is over for the both of you.
I felt like you when I was a little younger. My heart was so broken I moved 1200 miles to get away from it...I prayed every night that God would just make my heart stop because I couldn't handle the pain. Then one day I met my husband and all of that changed. I am so glad that it turned out the way it did. I met the love of my life and I would never go back.

If she still loves you, she'd come back to you. Maybe she needed time alone. But did she ever tell you EXACTLY why she broke up with you? If not, then she needs time alone or something. I dont think she's made up her mind. Maybe she's confused. Give her time. Don't play hard-to-get. Because two can play that game, and you'd have the risk of loosing her forever. just be yourself.

Hey there! Give her a call and set up a time just to talk with her. If she still loves you and wants to get back together she will want to get together. when you talk just let her know where your at and what your fears are, you may have to take it slow...ya know give her some time to make sure shes making the right decision. but dont just sit there and wait because you may be able to save it and you dont want it to be too late! Play hard to get, you'll be the only one that will REGRETS !!! If you know you still LOVE her, talk to her and tell her how important she is to you. Don't play hard to get, because believe it or not, there are other guys out there! Million, trillion, zillions of them !!
