Yep, you got it, the spanking! We used to have to go fetch our own willow switches, when I was a girl. It would take every bit of nerve I had in me to walk back into the house and hand it to my mom. We out-foxed mom on one occasion, though. All us kids had been getting on her last nerve, and finally she sent for a switch to be used on the bunch of us, but this time she included our "baby brother" (to shame us, I'm sure)! We sent him into the house first with the "switch" we had chosen, a huge branch that he could hardly drag through the door! Mom laughed so hard that she started crying! That was the end of the spanking (for that day at least).

I Was terrified of going down the bathtub drain, when i would hear the water and see a whirlpool at the end and the gurlgle sound,, i imagined it going to a dirty dark spooky place, i was told that i was terrified of peas, and that i would say, spank me, put me to bed, but dont make me eat the peas, i thought they were little bugs rolling on the plate,
The thing i still remember, (AND STILL DO) is get too sensitive when someone would use a harsh tone, or an irritated tone, or scold me, i would just go away and sit and cry my heart out.. sob, and take it real bad if the tone of voice seemed mad, i have become a lettle better, i don't sob, i pout,,Mmy

Nuclear war and the end of the world.
Thank you, Grandpa, for pointing all that stuff out about the middle east and the stuff in the bible in Revelations.
I was scarred for life.
I still love my Grandpa, though. He's dead now and he knows I've forgiven him.

Jesters and clowns, still don't like the little white faced freaks. Stayed up too many nights watching movies I was too young for.

I had a dream that my dead grandfather showed me horrors. That he would take me to train wrecks, murder scenes, things like that. I had it pretty often and was afraid to even go to sleep. (I shouldn't have brought that up probably. Might not sleep tonight)
