Ideally a combination of healthy eating, weight lifting, and cardio activity will work the best to help you quickly and safely lose weight. When it comes to cardio, the activity you enjoy will be the most effective in the long run. However, you do have to be realistic about what each activity can do for you. Unless you are a very strong swimmer, you aren't going to burn many calories swimming. It is a good workout for your whole body, but it doesn't burn as many calories as some other activities. Running burns a lot of calories, but can be tough on the knees. I'm not a roller blader so I am unsure of the intensity of that workout. Try some different things and see what you feel most comfortable with. Running may burn the most calories, but if you hate it and neglect to run, it won't do you much good. Try switching it up and do multiple activities to keep from getting bored.
Keep in mind that just doing cardio won't help you in the long run. You really need to eat healthily, and eat enough to sustain your activities. Lifting weights will help you build muscle (and that doesn't mean become muscular and bulky) which will in turn burn more calories while you are performing all other activies.

Running burns the most calories but this site explains much more efficient ones so you can spend less time and get more results. First, it is mostly not your fault that you need to lose weight. The way that you have been taught to eat is responsible (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) for making obesity the #1 health problem in the world behind hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic).
You need to learn a whole new way to eat. Below site has that info. Find out the absolute quickest way to lose weight, slow ways to lose weight and how to lose bodyfat, retained water and a 3rd thing. Learn about anti-water which makes water unable to work. Take the time to learn everything on below site. Do this and you can be thin. Do this not and be part of this pandemic.

Whichever physical activity you enjoy doing the most is the key. Some people tell me swimming, but I hate to swim & love tennis; so that is more effective for me!
OR
You can run to the lake, swim across it and rollerblade back home for a nutricious lunch!

I was told that swimming is really good because it's very low impact so you're not pushing down on any of your joints n' stuff. On the other hand, while running you're up and down on your knees, which will affect you later on in life, although it's also very good. You don't have to stick to one thing, good luck!

First, If the houses aren't to far, you could try to walk/jog when you are going to the house to babysit. Second, watch what you eat, you can make some yummy desserts and meals out of healthy foods! Look up some recipes, and remeber, even fast food places are now offering healthy meals! Good Luck!

Swimming is supposed to be a workout that works every muscle in the body so I would lean toward that. Running hurts the knees as well.

Swimming,..you don't feel as tired,..so you don't want to quit..its the weightlessness of the water, that helps..you just need to remember to take time out to rest during any exercise you do.
